HELP: the cries of victims For a better world with less psychological matters

04/10/2020

It doesn't matter how much you cry, how much you scream and how much you ask for help because the society has decided to turn a blind eye on gender based violence. Even when they decide to speak they speak only when they feel like but can't take proper action against these monsters. The society builds these monsters, monna wa laola, sehlako go lela sa gagwe, yeah ryt next thing he misuses the power he was given by the society.

No it's okay, r**e is not a joke guys. I still smile, I laugh, I still work hard to build my own kingdom but deep down I'm breaking down and there is a nothing I can do about it. My own family failed me, our criminal justice system failed me, the society failed but I still have to grow in the same environment, I still have to witness the same thing happen to our girls and still no one is trying to change anything. Our laws fail to protect girl children, everyday a life is ruined at the hands of ra**st
And you tell me to heal, how?
How am I supposed to heal when I am not sick but the world is?
Trust? How do I trust someone who is going to sexually assault me and will be praised for that?

Work on your trust

Once something happens to you, the trust is shattered, trust me. Work on getting it back. Learn how to trust again, always start with strangers they don't judge

Though it is difficult to do, if you are overwhelmed please find someone to talk to. It doesn't always have to be someone you know, even strangers are good listeners even better they don't judge.

Tuesday 2 June 2020

Today I urge you to check up on close people, be it friends, family members or even neighbors. The thing is we go through a lot but we don't have anybody to talk to. Many are dying inside but they still look okay to all of us.

Don't seem to intrude, a greeting and a smile can make someone see that you really care, if they are not willing to open up don't pester them.
