MAKHURA R***D AND KILLED HIS STEP DAUGHTER TO "FIX" HER MOTHER

Keolopile Makhura, a death row inmate appeared before Court of Appeal last week seeking to overturn the death sentence imposed on him. Makhura's appeal got struck out from the roll for failure to file a notice of leave to appeal out of time.

On September 23rd 2019 at Shashe Mooke Village, Makhura r***d and murdered his 14-year-old step daughter Bame Tebelelo. Tebelelo was doing standard 6 at Shashe Mooke Primary School.

Makhura and Bame's mother had problems in their relationship.

According to the summary of facts, it happened that on the night of the murder around 10pm, Makhura went to the house where he was cohabiting with Bame's mother looking for her but she was not around.

He asked Bame where her mother was, Bame responded by saying she doesn't know. The facts continue to say Makhura found Bame's mother at their neighbour whereupon he called her and she refused.

Makhura then returned to the house whereupon he took Bame to the near by bush, r***d her and when he got scared he strangled her to death.

During trial, Makhura pleaded guilty to the offence.

Makhura shall try his luck on the next session of the court of Appeal
