THE FISHERMAN AND HIS SON

A Short Moral Story.

A young lad asked his fisherman father,
"Papa, is it okay to tell people about my goals and dreams in life?"

The fisherman was silent for a moment, then asked,
"Why do you want to know that?"

The young lad answered,
"Well, papa, I have many big dreams, really big! I want to be of impact in all areas of life, to my generation and all aspects of life. However, I don't know if I should or shouldn't tell people about these dreams I have."

The fisherman smiled, then said,
"You know what... let's go catch some fish in the river. And then, we will continue this conversation, okay?"

At that moment, the fisherman and his son took their fishing equipment and went fishing. At the river, they put a piece of bait on the hook and casted the fishing rod into the river to catch a fish.

A few hours later, they had already caught a lot of fish and their basket was almost filled. The fisherman then stopped, pointed at the basket, and said to his son,

"Take a look at all these fish in the basket. They've been caught by the hook, and their fate is now different from that of those in the river. These fish have lost everything in their lives; their families, friends and home. Sadly, they will have to suffer and be killed in a gruesome way. Some will be fried, some baked, some berbecued, some grilled, some steamed, etc. Do you know why they have to go through much misfortune?"

The boy thought for a minute, then shook his head and said,
"I don't know, papa. Tell me."

The fisherman took a deep breath, and then whistled,
"Well, it is because they couldn't close their mouths. It is stated that a fish with a closed mouth never gets caught by the hook. It never falls a victim."

Upon saying that, the fisherman patted his son's shoulder, smiled and then continued,

"Son, this is what happens in real life. Many people have failed and lost everything they ever acquired in life because they opened their mouths too wide and told other people about their dreams and plans. A good reason to guard your senses and keep your mouth shut about upcoming projects is that most people do not want to see you succeed. This is a piece of advice to save your plans from being sabotaged by people who envy you. You should never announce your dreams until they are close to completion. Many people will do everything in their power to send a dagger through your chest just to ensure you don't succeed. A closed mouth never gets into trouble. Keep your big move a secret. Move in silence. Take action, and shock people with your results."

Life is a journey,make it meaningful and productive by providing your helping hands. Many has a roller coaster life and few are starting from the scratch despite many challenges.

Life is like a morning dew, though looks fresh and original, it is just temporary and might be take away easily by golden rays of sun which eventually covering all the universe with its warmth and comfort.

Perhaps the life span is longer for some people, however many are not blessed with longevity. Death can strike at any time without any warning like a strong gust of wind sweeping all around leaving nothing behind.

There is a parts of life which I think that very important. We cannot hide and run away from birth and death even though one possess mountains of wealth and an army guiding you day and night.

Overview-
Overall, except for Estonia, all states increased in 2020. Lalvia, Sweden and Estonia witnessed the largest fluctuations, whilst the remaining countries were relatively stable up to 2018. The UK saw the most dramatic increase from the lowest in 2012 to the highest in 2022.

Body-
Lalvia had the highest numbers in 2010 with just over 20%, however, this steady decreased to below 10% in 2020. Estonia had the wildest fluctuations, with around 6%in 2010,a massive jumped to 20% in 2012, before falling again to 10% in 2014. Sweden started with around 14% which steadily declined to below 5% in 2018 before increasing dramatically to just over 10% in 2022.

France,the UK and Ireland all started below 5% and remained relatively steady untill 2018. Life is hard for some people for a certain period of time but may not be their life long disease. One day they can lead a better life, far better than most of us and saw so many individuals fails to help the most needy individuals.

Nowadays, saw many people helping each other and show more of their relationships, if they can be benefited in either ways. So sad of them but such circumstance are everywhere which are inevitable. To state main reason, forget about strangers, peoples even fail to help their true blood relatives thinking that they won't be able pay back their money. Such a cases are everywhere and people tend to unfriending them as they will not be benefited in future or at present.

Peoples are now becoming more like a egoistic or a robotic mind. They fail to think about the other side of story and help. They rather turn their deaf ear to their problems and will be neglected later.

However, many people visit temples and get blessed either from lamas or local duties during auspicious days, I think there is no reason to go to temple if your mind is not clean. You may be accumulating the virtue but not that what you expected. My question is that do the benefits of offering, get blessing and visiting temples outweigh your kind helping hand to the really needy one's. I think it is absolutely "No" .

It is argued that governments should levy a tariff on junk food because the number of health risks associated with consuming this kind of food is on the rise. This essay agrees that a higher rate of tax should be paid by fast-food companies. Firstly, alcohol and to***co companies already pay higher taxes; secondly, higher taxes could raise prices and lower consumption.

Higher excise on liqueur and ci******es has proven to curb the harm caused by these substances. This revenue has been used to treat health problems associated with these products and has proven useful in advertising campaigns warning people about the dangers of alcohol and to***co abuse. Tax from fast food could be used in the same way. The United Kingdom is a prime example, where money from smokers is used to treat lung cancer and heart disease.

Increasing taxes would raise prices and lower consumption. Fast food companies would pass on these taxes to consumers in the form of higher prices, leading to people not being able to afford junk food because it is too expensive. Junk food would soon become a luxury item, and it would only be consumed occasionally, which would be less harmful to the general public’s health. For instance, the cost of organic food has proven prohibitively expensive for most people, and that is why only a small percentage of the population buys it regularly.

In conclusion, junk food should be taxed at a higher rate because of the good precedent set by alcohol and to***co and the fact that the increased cost should reduce the amount of fast-food people buy.
