The Visit of Lam Neten Rinpoche to the School.๐๐๐
Upon the invitation of the Khangkhu MSS family, H.E Lam Neten Rinpoche visited to the school today and blessed the family.
H.E shared five concerns in the form of advice to the students as follows;
1. Loyalty to the parents, as we all got this precious human life through them and the sacrifice they made raising us can't be measured or repayed.
2. Respect to the teachers, as they are the one who shines light dispelling the ignorance, a future and hope for oneโs life.
3. Prevention of self harm, as it only creates permanent problems to oneโs life and afterlife.
4. One must pledge never to indulge in substance abuse, as it is medically and spiritually a harmful substance not just to oneself but also to the Buddha's and omnipresent deities that lives around us.
5. Mindful attention, as it is the most important skills for students and only a way to gaining wisdom.
The discourse ended with Lam Neten bestowing blessings through oral transmission on the practices of the recitation of MANI, BENZAGURU and JAMYNANG SOELDEP to the whole KMSS family followed by Wang.
The school family remains ever grateful for this endless blessings from H.E.๐๐๐
And our prayers for Long Life of H.E Lam Neten Rinpoche.๐๐๐

Awareness speech on the 'World Earth Day' 2024 with the theme "Planet Vs. Plastics".
Prayer recitation!
Teachers and Students recited Jikten Wangchuk in commemoration of Zhabdrung Kuchoe.
Zhabdrung Kuchoe is observed in Bhutan to commemorate the life and achievements of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, who is considered one of the most important figures in Bhutanese history. Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal was a Tibetan Buddhist lama who unified Bhutan in the 17th century and established the dual system of government known as the Chhoesid Nyi or the "dual system of religion and politics."
Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal played a crucial role in shaping Bhutan's political and cultural landscape. He introduced many reforms, established a centralized governance system, and consolidated the country's distinct cultural identity. Zhabdrung Kuchoe is observed annually on the 10th day of the third month of the Bhutanese lunar calendar, which usually falls in February or March in the Gregorian calendar.
During the Zhabdrung Kuchoe celebration, Bhutanese people engage in various religious and cultural activities. Monks perform religious rituals and offer prayers in monasteries and temples across the country. Thongdrels, large religious scrolls depicting Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal and other important Buddhist figures, are unfurled and displayed for public viewing. The occasion is also marked by traditional dances, music, and other festivities.
Zhabdrung Kuchoe is a significant event that not only pays tribute to Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal but also reinforces the Bhutanese people's connection to their history, culture, and spiritual heritage. It is a time of reflection, gratitude, and celebration for the contributions made by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in shaping Bhutan as it exists today.
