Em 2006 alguns apaixonados pelo Rugby decidiram fundar um site para manter os interessados no esporte informados sobre os acontecimentos desse esporte tão apaixonante. Com o crescimento do número de acessos sugestões de pauta apareceram uma verdadeira equipe especializada na divulgação de matérias sobre Rugby surgiu. Em 2011 os criadors sentiram a nessecidade de novos esforços para a c
riação de um projeto mais arrojado focando o desenvolvimento do esporte, o que trouxe ao site o atual Diretor Geral Wagner Marcelo. Iniciou-se todo o processo de upgrade de tecnologia, novo design, nova equipe, etc, incluindo políticas de geração de conteúdo produzido sob licença Creative Commons 3.0, que possibilita a cópia e distribuição livre do conteúdo através da divulgação dos créditos. Diversos outros profissionais iniciaram então um projeto desafiador ao Rugby, que busca além da geração de notícia, agregar valor aos leitores e trazer novos apaixonados ao esporte no Brasil. Em 2012 serão muitas novidades que farão a comunidade do Rugby no Brasil serem atendidas de uma maneira profissional e com alta qualidade.
