Have you ever realized you always remember Coca-Cola when listening to certain sounds? Phst, Clink, Fizz, Glug, Ahh!
Coca-Cola’s intrinsic sounds are so refreshing that you want to taste them when you hear them!
So, AKQA invited us to create an AI-powered instrument using these sounds as the primary sound source. The brand new Coke SoundZ!
We went to one of the most famous studios in LA, East West Studios, to record these sounds as never before.
We used special microphones to achieve the perfect binaural ASMR sounds. We dive waterproof mics in glasses with ice to record the fizz and ice clinking as if you were inside the cup. We even created a microphone adapting a vintage headphone, reversing its polarity to record the Glug as if you were holding your ears to someone’s throat.
We spent almost six months with our developers creating an AI based on a Decision Tree logic code, inputting neuroscientific studies to make the most uplifting sounds possible.
After that, we went even further, partnering with AKQA and MAP to create a physical instrument using our creation!
The brand has used the SoundZ for months as ambient tunes for events, TikTok filters, and global campaigns: did you listen to the “It’s Gonna Be Me” song in a Coke commercial? Yes, SoundZ was there ;)
Now that the virtual instrument is available, you can mix all Coke intrinsic sounds. When you click on AI-Generate, the result is an uplifting sound you can play. More importantly, you always sense the Coke sounds in the infinite AI-generated possibilities, bringing its taste to your song!
