RGX Productions is an audio production company specialising in creating original music and sound design for moving images, founded by Ricardo Gomes in 2008. Ricardo is a Brazilian music composer, producer and sound designer graduated with a Master's degree in Audio Production from University of Westminster (London). He also studied Recording and Computer Music Production at LCCM and Jazz Workshop

at Morley College London. In 2009, while still in the UK, Ricardo started to compose and produce music for film under the name of his audio production company RGX Productions. His first score was the short film Mosa (2010), which was screened in several different countries around the globe and won the Iris Prize as the best British short film 2010. He also worked in the sound department of other short films, such as Awfully Deep (2010) and Fallout (2013). In Brazil, he wrote the original music for two Brazilian feature films: the documentary Macaco Tião - O Candidato do Povo (2017) and Jovens Polacas (2019). Currently, he is dedicated to writing and producing original music for film, library music for TV and ringback tones for mobile companies.

Our Story

RGX Productions is an audio production company specialising in creating original music and sound design for moving images and new media, founded by Ricardo Gomes in 2009.

Ricardo is a Brazilian music composer, producer and sound designer graduated with a Master's degree in Audio Production from University of Westminster (London). He also studied Recording and Computer Music Production at LCCM and Jazz Workshop at Morley College.

Based in London for 9 years, he began in the music scene as a guitarist, collaborating with different artists, including Valeriya, Russia’s biggest pop star with more than 100 million albums sold.

In 2009, while still in the UK, Ricardo started to compose and produce music and sound design for film under the name of his audio production company RGX Productions. His first score was for the short film Mosa (2010), which was screened in 15 different countries around the globe and won the Iris Prize as the best British short film 2010 as well as the Audience Award - Cineffable Film Festival - Paris, France 2011. He also worked in the sound department of other short films, such as Awfully Deep (2010) and Fallout (2013).
