Grimm Goat is a sublabel from The Church of Noisy Goat Listen, like, share.

The netlabel Grimm Goat was created in 2014 by the graphic designer, composer, arranger and free improviser from Porto Alegre, Bode - co-founder together with the plastic artist, arranger and free improviser, IO, of the netlabel The Church of Noisy Goat in 2020 - to be able to promote musical works that he was developing at the time in solo and/or in partnership, in addition to other albums that w

ere news in the underground scene at that time by Archive.org. So, in 2022, after analyzing the very high demand of demo submissions that their current netlabel The Church of Noisy Goat had been receiving, IO and Bode decided they needed another netlabel to be able to release singles at more affordable prices for listeners and, therefore, it is easier to promote musical works with a shorter duration, costing only the Free Download (Name Your Price), a Bandcamp option where you can pay as much as you want to download the album, or download it for free. So, in 2022, the Grimm Goat netlabel is reborn to join The Church of Noisy Goat as a channel for the dissemination of unconventional music that occurs around the world and is available for listening by streaming or free download through Bandcamp and our social networks. .

Listen today on Grimm Goat, reopening this label's new journey, to a split I was proposed to participate in almost a year ago by Lord Yurguth aka Margul Demonic aka Vuldys Excretus. So, finally after I've finished my part of the release (yes, I'm too slow and perfectionistic), here it is ready for you to enjoy. The track by Lord Yurguth aka Margul Demonic (Carnal Vessel) is very badass and opens the split between his project Goatwomb and me, Bode. I don't hide my passion for Heavy Metal, since the NWOBHM that I learned to listen to in the 80's with my friends older than me. So, I went through Trash, Death, Black and Doom Metal, a subgenre that I consider very cool and gave me the idea to explore in depth with my track in this split. Lord Yurguth aka Margul Demonic is an exponent of Metal worldwide, being featured in several publications of the musical genre. I owe him my deep gratitude for this opportunity to be daring to work with something that I really enjoy.

Dear listeners and followers!

A year ago I started with my partner IO a netlabel in support of The Church of Noisy Goat, due to the amount of submissions we were receiving at that time. We named it Grimm Goat, the same name as a netlabel I kept for a while on archive.org.

And the idea of having a new support label has always been to release music that is independent and free of aesthetic prejudices, as we have adopted in these almost three and a half years of existence of our netlabels. After Grimm Goat, IO created three more genre-specific netlabels: z0, Shadow Tears and OIOOIOOI OIOOIIII, which contain her personal touch on album curation and visual identity. Our will to deal with netlabels is compulsive, but time prevents us from having more.

So we did our first release, and it was from our dear supporter Zach Hallquist: MXB-210 by Palazzo's Monstrosity Coil was there on the shelves of that newly arrived label to add value to what gave rise to it. The release of this album had a great repercussion thanks to the constant support of our dear followers who thank us.

It was thanks to the agreement between our dear follower, supporter and filmmaker from Porto Alegre, André Symanski, and the author of the MXB-210 by Palazzo's Monstrosity Coil album, Zach Hallquist, that Grimm Goat's debut release became the soundtrack of Symanski's film: Divino Sabor, from the production company Camorim Filmes, which was recently exhibited in Porto Alegre.

We're re-releasing a new edition of it this year in the house of the noisy goats. The original artwork was remastered in our studio especially for Bandcamp. An intro with slurred beats and rumbling noise reminiscent of Power Electronics at its best and then we kick off the album with thirteen fantastic songs spanning a mix of Psychedelic Indie Rock, Hip Hop, Jazz/Folk/Blues and a whole lot of cool. BLACKWULF's husky voice has a strong "jazzy" appeal and is very visceral and warm. I confess that I'm still speechless listening to these tracks on repeat. CHUKCHEE, WYDOW, ABOMINATION, XRIN Arms & SMEAR contributed to the album's soundscapes. DEESKEE was responsible for the mastering and some samples. Karl Dueble signed the cover. Prognosis album inaugurates the works of this remarkable and inventive experimental group and it is an immense pride for us to be experiencing this here in the house of the noisy goats. Mezzanine is formed by our dear supporter Mike Benoit and the avant-garde musicians, Jon Corbett and Ethan Fletcher, who in addition to the former also wrote, recorded and produced all the tracks on the album, leaving Ethan Fletcher in charge of mixing, mastering and sound engineering. Dark Space Ambient with long cavernous drones kicks off this thought-provoking album with six chilling tracks. Then immersive, cerebral electronics take over the mood with enticing and entertaining soundscapes filled with sizzling tones and low-key vocals. Listen today on Grimm Goat to an album that was pulled exclusively for us to offer to you, dear listeners, from the electronic rarities chest of our dear supporter Chris Phinney aka Mental Anguish, directly from his acclaimed label Harsh Reality Music. This is a reissue of a classic of his that was released 18 years ago and it is the firecracker Evidence, which he performed with the support of some artists from the underground scene, at the time of its release, who provided sound sources for the album. We start with the brilliant track by Mental Anguish that gives the album its name, with arpeggios and enveloping beats in high tones and very pleasant. The next nine tracks follow, and these tracks traverse many styles of electronic music with beats spanning acidic and killer sounds, booming breakbeats, furious drones, visceral melodies and many other badass timbres. This style is no longer played by Mental Anguish these days, as he now does Ambient and Dark Ambient.

Yes, one of the most famous guys in the DUB scene, who was a disciple of King Tubby, having learned the magic formulas of stoned sound from the master and working on albums in partnership with Lee Scratch Perry, Prince Jammy and Mad Professor. To our immense joy, this valiant and renowned DUB producer agreed to make this simply amazing remix of the track "Funk Song", by the duo PILLARS OF DUB, formed by Pete Swinton and his eldest son,Gabriel Stott, who wrote the original track from PILLARS OF DUB which was remixed by SCIENTIST. Thus was born the SCIENTIST vs. PILLARS OF DUB, which lands today on our shelves so that those who know DUB or are interested in it stay tuned in this masterpiece that was kindly provided by this wonderful person that is SCIENTIST, with the final production of the master of immersive ambiences, which supports us weekly, Pete Swinton.

Listen today on Grimm Goat to the premiere of Glog, by the serbian Никола Антић. On this project, the producer works exclusively with horror music. And the main inspiration for the composition of this album was the report Visum et Repertum, published by Serbian military surgeons in 1732 about supposed deaths related to blood drinkers. Spine-chilling, icy drones populate this Glog masterpiece for the abode of noisy goats. The incredible cinematics typical of vampire horror movies are omnipresent in this forty-one minute recording where we can hear layers of sound that recall the breeze in a cemetery at dawn. Glog is one of the many projects of this great composer and arranger that focuses on the Dark and Death Ambient genres and has a vast discography on Bandcamp. Thanks to Никола Антић for sharing the powerful fear music he produces with our netlabels and our fans who are looking for moments of sonic immersion that stirs the mind.
