Guest: Honorable James Greenwood is a Republican who resides in Bucks County. He was elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives at the age of 29 in 1980. He served in the House for six years and then served for six years in the PA State Senate. In 1992 he was elected to Congress representing Bucks County, portions of Montgomery County and Northeast Philadelphia. He served in Congress for twelve years. In 2005 Greenwood left Congress to become the President and CEO of the Biotechnology Innovation Organization, the national trade association for 1100 biopharmaceutical companies. After 16 years in this role, he joined the DLA Piper law firm as chair of the Life Sciences Policy and Advocacy Group until April of this year. He now serves on the board of and consults with several biotech companies. Although a life-long Republican, he served as chair of Republicans for Shapiro and currently is the co-chair of Pennsylvania Republicans for Harris/Walz.
