What is Bacoban ? Bacoban is a water based daily cleaner/disinfectant which leaves behind a Multi-Functional Surface. Once the cleaning effect dissipates, a three dimensional nano-structured layer, measuring 40 times thicker than human DNA, is automatically formed and left behind, allowing for a residual hygienic protection.

This ultra-thin film ensures that dust, protein and liquids (i.e. sweat) will adhere loosely to the surface allowing for complete and effortless removal. These surface refinements make Bacoban ideal for those organizations who are mandated to maintain regular/periodic cleaning processes.

Conventional disinfectants are immediately effective, however, their efficacy is limited to their contact time. Unwanted bacteria and viruses begin forming almost immediately, mere minutes after a surface cleaning. Using a highly innovative and unique ‘controlled release’ mechanism, the universally accepted active ingredient responsible for Bacoban’s antimicrobial effects is released from the nano-structured matrix only when required - allowing for a 'closure' in the hygienic gap, protecting the treated surface from microbial growth and drastically reducing cross contamination between disinfection periods.

When used with compatible MFStek layers, Bacoban will rejuvenate abrasion points on non-porous surface coatings that have been applied to substrates such as metal, plastic and glass. However, Bacoban does not need to be used as part of a two component system as it has been designed to serve as a stand alone 1-step clean, disinfect and shield. We distribute a wide variety of product coatings and cleaning materials including:
SIGMAtek Non-Absorbent- Protective coating offering easy-to-clean solutions to non-porous surfaces such as metal, glass, plastic, ceramic, etc. By reducing surface energy, soiling and other surface contaminants loosely adhere to the surface allowing them to be easily removed. Dust and other particles will often not adhere to treated substrates.
SIGMAtek Absorbent product – Protective coating offering easy-to-clean and anti-graffiti solutions to porous surfaces such as stone, wood, textile, etc. By reducing surface energy, soiling and other surface contaminants loosely adhere to the surface allowing them to be easily removed. Bacoban – Bacoban is a water based daily cleaner and disinfectant which leaves behind a nano-layer containing infused biocides, allowing for up to 10 days of antimicrobial protection. This non-leeching ultra-thin coating serves as a sponge, strongly adhering to the surface and discharges the active ingredients via a Controlled Release Mechanism, when bacteria, viruses, mold and fungi come into contact with the coating.

Clear Metal Jacket – Environmentally safe, water based, non toxic, short-to-medium term anti-corrosion coating. (not a permanent coating). Intended to protect corrosion during transport and storage periods.
KARBONtek line of Industrial Degreasers – Water based products attack oil, grease and even heavy bitumen – 3 versions available depending on the soiling situation.

OE Nano also distributes a “heavy duty” line of nano-tech coatings designed to withstand corrosion, abrasion and create easy to clean properties. These coatings are targeted towards industrial, oilfield, and manufacturing clients.

We have also added a Water Remediation Additive called PUREtek which removes organic compounds from water quickly and effectively. There are many applications for this product in the oil and gas industries as well as other industries like agriculture that deal with contaminated water. PUREtek has proven effective to remove H2S from processed water with exciting results.
