يعتبر الفنان خمدن عضواً إدارياً للعلاقات العامة ثم أميناً للسر في جمعية البحرين للفنون التشكيلية وله مساهمات كتابية كثيرة، تتحدث عن مهارات الفن التشكيلي، ونشرها في الصحف المحلية البحرينية.

"Artists in Bahrain"
Bahrain, with its natural beauty and diverse civilizations, has always been a cradle of art and creativity. From its palm trees that inspire thoughtful minds to its seas that awaken the spirit, Bahraini artists have drawn their unique talents from the depths
of its history and the charm of its environment.

This book presents a glimpse into the works of 60 Bahraini artists, whose creations collectively document the richness and authenticity of the national art scene.

This project, generously supported by "Tamkeen," reflects a national commitment to elevating the status of Bahraini artists and positioning them at the forefront of the artistic landscape.

We extend our gratitude to all the artists featured in this book for their creativity, and a special thanks to "Tamkeen" for supporting this cultural project, which strengthens the documentation of national art and highlights the Bahraini artist as a beacon of creativity and excellence.

لطالما حلمنا بإنشاء واجهة بحرية فاخرة ترقى إلى المكانة المتنامية لدولة قطر كمركزٍ رئيسيٍ للإبتكار والتنمية الإجتماعية والإقتصادية. واليوم، يقف «منتجع القصار» شامخاً ليمثّل علامةً فارقةً في خارطة الإنجازات التي تتميّز بها دولة قطر و"مجموعة الفردان"، وذلك بإعتباره إضافةً نوعيةً لجهودنا الرامية إلى الإرتقاء بدولة قطر اسماً مرادفاً للجودة العالية والتميّز والفخامة.

تميزت أعماله الفنية من مجسمات ومنحوتات بالحداثة والتجريد، واستخدم الحديد والخشب لعمل المجسمات الكبيرة على ارتفاع مترين، ويتم عرضها في الهواء الطلق ، وكذلك البرونز في الداخل واستلهم فكرة هذه الأعمال من الطبيعة الخلابة.
