Alexander and Iana both turned their childhood passions into careers at Ubisoft. Alexander, fascinated by video game worlds from a young age, now has 16 years of experience as a Level Designer. Iana, who always loved drawing, joined Ubisoft Sofia in 2017 as an Environment Artist. Both are now working on the Assassin's Creed brand, bringing their creativity and expertise to life in one of gaming's most iconic franchises.

In this presentation, Iana and Alexander will explore the intricate process of world-building in the Assassin's Creed series, diving into the collaborative relationship between Art and Level Design. Attendees will gain insight into how these two disciplines come together to create immersive and rich environments.

Last week, our UI Art Director, Ognyan Barov, had the honor of being a keynote speaker at Ubisoft Belgrade's “Game On!” event, hosted in collaboration with the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade. 🎮✨

In his talk “Creating UI Art Direction for AAA Video Games”, Ognyan shared invaluable insights from his experience on key steps of the UI Art creation process - from the initial concept and art style selection to testing and final implementation.

It was an incredible experience connecting with the talented students of FDA and keeping the creative spark alive! 🙌
