The Tokyo and Yokohama bridges were severely damaged by the earthquake. In the year 1922, Tokyo had a total of 583 bridges… The earthquakes shook down 69 of them, and the fire that followed destroyed 289 of them. The loss of these bridges hampered communication and transportation during a critical moment, as well as rescue efforts for individuals trapped by the flames. Many of the steel bridges had timber flooring, which proved to be a catastrophic flaw, resulting in the demolition of bridges that would have otherwise been unaffected.

DJ Yamaoka was born in Vidin, Bulgaria in 1976. He currently lives in Sofia, Bulgaria. He started collecting gramophone records in 1988 while traveling with his parents in the former Yugoslavia. At that time, music entered Bulgaria mostly from Yugoslavia because of the communist regime in Bulgaria.
He made his first steps as a DJ scene in 1991. His strongest years were from 1991-1997. He also worked in Radio Pulse, producing and leading a hip hop show. He is known for his perfect mixes with gramophones.
He started training Japanese martial arts – Iaijutsu, Jojutsu and Kenjutsu.
From there comes his nickname Yamaoka associated with Yamaoka Tesshū (a remarkable figure from the turbulent era that marked the beginning of modern Japan. He achieved profound enlightenment at the age of forty-five and realized the hidden laws of martial arts with sword, zen and calligraphy. Teсshu is an extremely versatile and prolific master: an incomparable sword fighter who founded the Swordless School, a wise and compassionate Zen teacher in the Tequisui tradition, an unsurpassed calligrapher who connected everything earthly and divine in his brush. Teshu’s incredible vitality can be seen in his works, and if carefully observed, the remarkable transformation associated with Teshu’s enlightenment, as well as his deepening during the last eight years of his life, is clear in his calligraphy)
