Mintaka is the project that was born 4 years ago, when I moved to Ghent. I play techno, techtrance, progressive, zenonesque and forest. Open for bookings!

Mintaka started out as Dreamsequence, an earlier name i chose a long time ago. Those days I played a mix of dubstep, drum and bass, crossbreed, hard-frenchcore and tekno. Later on, I grew more into techno and the Goa-subgenres, and I went through the whole lot, and still love every subgenre GOA it has to this day. But what really makes me move is the music I discovered only in 2014, while attendin

g my first BOOM festival (What an experience). While floating over the boomland, i passed by the Alchemy Circle and heard what I called then 'some weird but awesome psychedelic techno'. Needless to say, I found my place to spend my festival, and together with that the genres that combined my 2 greatest love's:
Techno and 'Psytrance'. So since then, I have mainly been spending my time listening to every zenon/techtrance/darkprog/psytechno artist I could find, trying to build up a nice collection of music that drives me. I am always eager to share this music with people, to share the goosebumps these frequencies gave to me. I hope you all enjoy the music i compile in my weekly mixes. Our Story

Mintaka is a project born in 2012 In those days he just started to discover progressive, dark progressive and psychedelic techno. But even from the very beginning the passion for this music was there! Shortly after this, he also started a collective called 'Multi Dimensional'. With this collective he tries to bring a bigger crowd to the parties that bring the music he loves. In 2016, Mintaka started to work more closely with the Lost Theory crew, and then played his first festival in the summer of 2018. Ever since then, more regular bookings have been rolling in, and we can expect a lot of sessions from him in the season of 2019! Festivals where he will be playing include; Multi Dimensional, Transition Festival, Huéznar Festival, Lost theory Festival, Space Safari. The ideal atmosphere which Mintaka strives to create is deep and dark, while at the same time bringing an intense feeling of euphoria by mixing the darkest of tracks with the more melodic one's, to take you on a rollercoaster of emotions! I am always eager to share this music with people, to share the goosebumps these frequencies gave to me. I hope you all enjoy the music i compile in my regular mixes.
