We have nearly halved our greenhouse gas emissions! And by 2050 at the latest, we aim to reach net-zero emissions.
At Kinnarps, we set ambitious goals for our sustainability efforts. For us, it’s about meeting the demands and expectations we hope you have of us as a supplier – so that together, we can contribute to achieve the world’s climate goals.
Our long-term goal is to halve our greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 at the latest. Since the baseline year of 2019, we have reduced our greenhouse gas emissions by an impressive 45%, putting us well on track to reach our 2030 target.
As mentioned, we hope that these are the expectations you have of us as an interior design supplier. Together, we can do better! 💙

Imagine you’re putting together a jigsaw puzzle. It has many pieces in different shapes and patterns. Wouldn’t it be easier if more of the pieces fit together? 🧩
Today, it’s more important than ever to think both efficiently and long-term when it comes to interior design.
One way to think about an interior design solution is as a puzzle. The more pieces that fit together, the easier it is to assemble.
If you need to rearrange the ""puzzle"" after a reorganisation, a change in working methods, or a move to new premises, it’s much simpler if you’ve chosen pieces that are compatible from the start. See the example down below, with one of our series, Fields.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We would like to say thank you for this past year and wish you all a healthy, happy and successful 2025🎆
With only a few days left until the holidays, it's time to meet the last team in our Christmas tour around Europe – say hi to Poland! They have a very nice tradition around Christmas to share with us ❄️
Meet Angelika, Bartek, and Kasia, they work in our showroom in Warsaw. What’s typical for Christmas in Poland, that we others might not do? 🇵🇱
– In Poland, we have a tradition of leaving an empty plate at the Christmas table for an unexpected guest. It’s a symbolic gesture of hospitality and kindness, deeply rooted in our culture. We also have a tradition of sharing a special wafer, ""opłatek"", before starting Christmas Eve dinner. Everyone exchanges wishes, making this moment very special!
Happy Holidays to you! And remember: Kinnarps is represented around the world, but in the end, we are all one ❤️
The holidays are getting closer day by day ❄️ Let’s have a Christmas chat with our Swedish team about what’s typical Swedish around Christmas!
Meet Wilma, Kristina and Julius, who work in the small community of Kinnarp, where it all started over 80 years ago! What’s a typical Swedish Christmas tradition? 🇸🇪
- By 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve, the whole country is gathered in front of the television to watch the lighting of a Christmas candle live, followed by Christmas cartoons that we refer to as “Christmas with Donald duck”. The program is hosted by the Christmas host of the year, which is typically a famous Swede that the public television company designates. The host of the year is revealed to the Swedish people mid-November each year, which is also a big happening.
Happy Holidays to you! And remember: Kinnarps is represented around the world, but in the end, we are all one ❤️
Countdown to Christmas… ❄️ Every week, we’ll ask colleagues from all around Europe – what’s typical for Christmas in your country, that we others might not do? Let’s see what’s Christmas is about in Denmark 🇩🇰
Say hello to our Danish colleagues, Anne and Hanne, who works in our showroom in Aarhus.
– In Denmark we eat caramelized potatoes – brunede kartofler – which is potatoes that you fry in caramelized sugar. I don’t think that’s very common somewhere else? We also do a lot of homemade DIY Christmas decorations, for example the woven paper hearts are a Danish tradition that dates to the 19th century, inspired by H.C. Andersen. They are hung on the Christmas tree!
Happy Holidays to you! And remember: Kinnarps is represented around the world, but in the end, we are all one ❤️
Happy December! ❄️ Have you heard of the Swiss tradition of the advent bread man?
We have started our countdown to the holidays, and what better way than to have a few surprises along the road. Every week, we’ll ask colleagues from all around Europe – what’s typical for Christmas in your country, that we others might not do?
Say hello to our Swiss colleagues Selma, Jovana, Phatchanida and Karim, who works in our showroom in Zürich. Tell us about a Swiss Christmas tradition? 🇨🇭
– The typical Grittibänze - small, sweet yeast dough figures - are a must. The 6th of December is the day of Grittibänz in Switzerland. The Gritibänz is a baked sweet bread, form into a little man and often decorated with details as hats, scarfs made of bread details. You find them in all coffeeshops around Switzerland, or make them at home!
Happy Holidays to you! And remember: Kinnarps is represented around the world, but in the end, we are all one ❤️
