OPGELEGDE WERKEN VOOR DE CANTABILE PIANOWEDSTRIJD

De wedstrijd is voor veel jonge componisten en pianisten een uitdaging om het beste van zichzelf te geven, niet alleen op het podium, maar ook tijdens de intense voorbereiding die zo'n wedstrijd nu eenmaal vraagt. Dat laatste geldt trouwens ook voor hun leraren en ouders! De Cantabile Compositie- en Pianowedstrijden, toegankelijk voor deelnemers uit heel België, wisselen elkaar jaarlijks af, waarbij de winnende composities van de Cantabile Compositiewedstrijd als plichtwerk door de deelnemers van de volgende Cantabile Pianowedstrijd worden uitgevoerd. Het engagement van Cantabile stopt niet bij de wedstrijd: over heel Vlaanderen worden recitals en concerten georganiseerd om de finalisten van de pianowedstrijd de kans te bieden om verder te blijven groeien. Niet alleen als solisten, maar ook in samenspel met andere jonge musici dankzij het project "Kamermuziek Jong Vlaanderen." Daarnaast staan ook buitenlandse concertreizen en andere activiteiten op het programma. Voor alle informatie kunt u terecht op www.cantabilewedstrijd.be.
