*** Klantvraag: loopt mijn abonnement nog? ***

De laatste krijgen we meerdere terechte vragen van lezers of hun abonnement nog loopt en of ze het nieuwe Engelstalige magazine ook zullen ontvangen. Het antwoord is nee, voor dit nummer in het Engels hebben we geen auto incasso van onze leden voor gedaan, enkel los te koop op de website:

Sinds ons Groothuis nummer (MC #22) hebben we geen Nederlandstalige versie uitgegeven om ons te focussen op de Engelse die we al tien jaar beloofd hadden aan onze volgers.

In alle eerlijkheid weten we niet of we voor de NL versie in de toekomst nog met abonnement/auto incasso zullen kunnen werken of niet, de realiteit is dat ik/mijn vrouw het niet meer klaarspelen om iedere 6 maand een nummer naar onze standaard uit te brengen waarbij we oude fotoarchieven willen inscannen, pioniers ter plekke interviewen, enz. Eén ding is zeker: we blijven het magazine runnen, maar dan eerder als een band en hun albums. Als we er eentje klaar hebben, brengen we die uit en zetten we die op de site.

Hopelijk hebben we jullie hiermee voldoende geïnformeerd.

"Read the magazine start to finish today. What a read , best magazine I ever read.. Are you doing more of these ? I would like to subscribe if so. Absolutely fantastic." Mega first feedback from one of our customers. We are blown away by the sheer number of magazine orders we had for our UK edit and working our asses off to keep up with shipments (to the point we cannot take any phonecalls, messages, etc.) this week. We don't know when a second issue will come but with the magazine we will more and more act like a band and finish another one only when we are totally happy and not at a set time.

First MC in English, made for our UK followers and of course for our Euro and other friends that can read/understand English.

CARP DEN BOSCH 2025… what can we say!? We had a blast! Put up the new big stand, filled it with products new and old, had great fun and sold out on a lot of items in the two days there. We have no beanies left at all 😅Special thanks to all of you who visited our stand, we had to speak four different languages at the same time lol & big ups to our of friends helping us out. Without them it would not even be possible for a small niche brand like ours to attend the show the way we did this year. X

Joe's Bait Boats, one of the upcoming and promising Benelux bait boat companies, recently offered us a fully customized bait boat to auction off in aid of our syndicate & there's no better time to launch this one over at Carp Den Bosch. We had free choice of colours and lettering and dared Joe's into this quite challenging paintjob which is like a modern Flecktarn spin-off. The guys at Joe's had their doubts but the more the bait boat got varnished/polished/finished, the more iconic it became. A proper one off, including the following specs:

* special paint limited edition MC
* German quality parts, such as Robbe and also Dutch Rabousch Motors shafts and propellers
* comes with futuba transmitter and also with 1 set of lifepo4 batteries of 12000mah and charger
* normal value without the paintjob approx 1700 euros
* can be upgraded at buyer's cost (echo, autopilot, etc., to be discussed with Joe's)
* on display at the Monkey Climber stand in Hal 2 at Carp Den Bosch this weekend

As you may know, at the Monkey Climber syndicate, we had a heavy fish loss last year due to a severe air pressure drop followed by an oxygen crash. The syndicate has always been run as a non-profit club (separate from the magazine/brand) and now expects a lot of expenses for new stock and infrastructure (pumps, batteries, solar panels, etc.) to prevent this from happening again. As we have always done a lot for charity in the past, a lot of our mates like Les Bowers, Tom Dekkers, Lewis Smith have already set up a few actions to help us out. There's more coming from Alan Blair/Nash, CC Moore, etc. and a few top & tight Belgian syndicates, etc. Thanks for all te love!
