Some months ago we designed and built our own nearfield studio monitors. A design where the chosen components and the dimensions of the cabinet work together to create a very tight and very detailed studio monitor. This speaker has absolutely transformed the recording and mixing experience in our Studio A control room in the past months and we, as well as our clients, were incredibly pleased with the result. So much so that some of our clients requested a pair for themselves and we wanted to have the same comfort and detail in all our other studios! That’s why we are currently building 5 more pairs of these. Here is a glimpse of the construction process of the cabinets!

Maintenance day! Cleaning all the k***s, cleaning the contacts, changing 1 cap in each channel, tightening all the screws of the patchbay, cleaning all the faders,… making sure our SSL 4000G+ remains a joy to record and mix on, trouble free!

Our Yamaha CF concert grand is getting a big overhaul by maestro ! Ortwin is applying the Precision Touch Design protocol which will make it a pleasure to play and bring the piano back to life!

Recording solo piano with .willaert for an upcoming TV-series on our D-274 today! We are using an AB30 pair of , an LCR setup consisting of .berlin TLM170’s and a vintage Neumann U87 and our decca tree with microphones! 🎛️

We now offer full sized concert grand pianos in each of our recording studios! A wonderful Steinway D-274 in our biggest studio and the Yamaha CF in our smaller studio.

Very big news!! We are constantly upgrading and investing to deliver the highest quality of recordings we possibly can and this is our next step in our quest for sonic greatness! End of july we are expecting the delivery of a Steinway D concert grand piano for our big studio! It is a 1980 Steinway D that spent his whole life in the concerthalls of De Singel in Antwerp and is currently being restored to brand new condition by , who is one of the greatest piano technicians in Belgium and beyond. No compromises are being made in the restoration and this piano will be an absolute joy to play and record music on!
Our current piano, Yamaha CF concert grand, will find its new home in our smaller recording studio and will receive a complete revision of the mechanics in October, by Ortwin as well. This way we will be able to offer a high quality of piano’s in each of our studios!
