The leaves are falling, and nature's colors are shifting—it's officially fall, our favorite time of year. What better moment to introduce our new 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗙𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, curated just for your listening pleasure. With fresh designs by Julie de Vrieze and a blend of mixes from both familiar and emerging talents, we're excited to share this journey with you.

Kicking off the series is 𝗠𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻, a young Parisian artist with a relentless passion. After eight months of perseverance and dedication, it’s finally time to release his stunning ambient mix.

"I am a visual designer living in Paris. I have been collecting records for more than ten years, focusing on electronic music and jazz. I fell into the ambient rabbit hole during the COVID lockdowns. This mix synthesises my most cherished and spiritual records, blending sci-fi, organic and dreamy textures. It’s a dance in the void and a longing for connection in a world where our bonds are breaking." - Mimen

Menica has carved out a distinctive niche in the music scene with her dynamic sets and iconic Ghent-based parties. Her musical journey began with a deep love for jazz, rhythm & blues, funk, and soul that shaped her enduring passion for infectious grooves. Growing up during the emergence of the Belgian electronic music scene, she naturally transitioned to mixing and performing electronic music at parties in Ghent and Brussels.

For Menica, the bond between the artist and the dancer is paramount. This philosophy led her to establish Ojoo Music in 2017, a platform where she curates events and releases that celebrate diverse electronic sounds, strongly emphasising artistic individuality and movement. She meticulously chooses venues that foster this artist-dancer connection, ensuring that her events are always intimate and full of character. By discovering and showcasing emerging talents, she’s cultivating a vibrant community of artists, dancers, and friends united by a shared love for boundless electronic music.

In 2022, she was a resident at Fuse Brussels, Belgium’s longest-running techno club. Today, she holds a residency at Funke, an art space, bar, and club in Ghent.

Tomorrow she'll set the tone in the garden, arrive early, stay late!

They play music back2back, surfing through styles with a dauntless approach and an energetic curiosity. Although it’s a fresh enterprise, The Apricots already spun records at Fusion Festival (DE), Waha Festival (RO), Club de Visionaere and Hoppetosse Berlin, Contactweg Amsterdam, London, Egypt and Platforma Wolff Bucharest. They also produce music together, touching very different areas from downtempo and experimental electronic music to house, breaks and electro.

Alexandra is a Black Rhino Radio resident, hosting the monthly show “Ears Wide Open” and the co-owner of the Berlin-based electronic music label Melliflow. She played at well-established club-culture institutions like Fabric London, The Cause London, C12 Bruxelles, De School Amsterdam, Robert Johnson (Offenbach, DE), Under Bron and Traedgarten Stockholm, Goa Rome, The Pickle Factory London, Gottwood Festival (UK) and Electric Castle Festival (Cluj, RO). DJ Slim Fit is a passionate electronic music producer, traveling easily through styles and tempos. As a DJ, he played in Berlin, Amsterdam, London, Rome, Prague, Milan, Egypt and Stuttgart.

Come check them out on the 7th of September in Ghent's coolest garden. 😎

Tomorrow, we're thrilled to have Leonardd on warm-up duties. A treasured member of the Affair crew, Leonardd has been integral to the collective. When he's not managing the numbers, he's digging for deep, minimalistic tunes. Formerly known as Lekke, Leonardd has honed a unique style over the years, blending deep, minimal, and occasionally dubby sounds. His sets are known for their warmth, creating an atmosphere that is distinctly his own.

Collector, curator, connector, and risk-taker－ Alfred Anders is one of the main arteries of the Brussels music scene and nightscape. He has been guiding ears and dancefloors for the last decade as a DJ and more recently as the founder of Crevette Records.

He’s constantly crafting, shaping, and executing big plans in the quirky capital city he calls home. As a DJ he’s an investigator, passionately digging deep for unknown gems that move, entrance, and intrigue. His expertise lies in 80's and 90's House & Techno that capture a primal essence, joy, and curiosity.

In seven years, he built up Crevette Records to be a globally recognized and respected label and record shop and co-orchestrated some of Brussels’ most sought-after events. Most importantly, he tirelessly works to build a close-knit music community in this increasingly crowded and chaotic world…

Dedicated, driven, and focused — these are just a few ways to describe Gols. Another way is to say that he creates and plays music with integrity and soul. His passion for music, love for vinyl, and unwavering dedication to his craft ensure that Gols always delivers a refined and tasteful selection. Watching him perform is a true pleasure. His hands handle his records and mixer with such respect, reflecting his gentle nature and deep reverence for the art.

In addition to his tireless search for vinyl gems, Gols manages his label, Hoot. Above all, he loves a good time on the dancefloor just as much as he loves giving the dancefloor a good time.
