🇮🇹🤩 ʜᴏʟʏ ʀᴏꜱɪᴛᴀ will have its international première at the 42nd Torino Film Festival! The film is selected for the main competitive section 🇮🇹🤩

Torino Film Festival is one of the largest and most established film festivals in Italy. Holy Rosita has been chosen from 5.500 film entries.

A large delegation of the cast & crew will be present at the international première November 23rd.

Afgelopen week ging het innemende debuut van Leonardo Van Dijl, JULIE ZWIJGT, in première op Film Fest Gent ! Onder luid applaus werden de regisseur en cast verwelkomd door Les Hirondelles, hun genodigden én bekend Vlaanderen. Eén ding is zeker: Er mag niet gezwegen worden over deze film!

🇧🇪 Julie Keeps Quiet is Belgian Oscar entry 🇧🇪

Julie Keeps Quiet, Leonardo van Dijl's feature debut, is the official Belgian entry for the Academy Awards. The Belgian jury selected the film to compete for the coveted statuette for Best International Feature Film.

Julie Keeps Quiet tells the story of a talented young tennis player, whose life is entirely dedicated to sport. When her coach, who took her to the top, is suddenly suspended, their club launches an investigation. All the players are asked to share their experiences, but Julie remains silent.

Julie Keeps Quiet had its world premiere at the Semaine de la Critique in Cannes in May, where it won three awards. Since then, Julie Keeps Quiet has also been invited to the Karlovy Vary, Melbourne, and Sarajevo film festivals, and appeared in Poland's New Horizons festival. Last week, the film had its North American premiere at the Toronto film festival. The forthcoming London and Hamburg film festivals will also screen Julie Keeps Quiet, while closer to home it has been shortlisted for the European Film Awards and will have its Belgian premiere at Film Fest Gent.

⭐ Julie Keeps Quiet selected for European Film Awards ⭐

Julie Keeps Quiet, Leonardo van Dijl's feature debut, has been shortlisted for the European Film Awards.

Following the announcement of the European Film Awards shortlist, it is now up to the more than 5,000 members of the European Film Academy to cast their votes for Best European Feature Film and other categories. The nominations will be announced on 5 November. The award ceremony of the 37th European Film Awards will take place on 7 December in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Since its world premiere in Cannes, which was positively received by audiences and the film press in attendance, Julie Keeps Quiet has also been invited to the Karlovy Vary, Melbourne, Sarajevo and Polish New Horizons film festivals. In September, Leonardo van Dijl's feature debut will have its North American premiere at the Toronto festival.
