Introducing our final host of Saturday March 9: Rien Coorevits! Rien has always been a multidisciplinary artist: video artist, musician, print-maker, scenographer, art book publisher and performer on stages across Belgium and The Netherlands.
To us, mostly known for his visual wizardry at Dauwtrip takeovers, you might have seen his video work for Mathias De Craene, Sylvie Kreusch, ᴘɪɴɢᴘᴏɴɢᴄʟᴜʙ, Golden Hours and many more.
His work is blurry, filtered into an incoherent story, a half-truth, a print of something that is no more. A meditation on all things lost. Whenever Rien interferes, a signal goes missing. Quite annoying for a radiostation actually…

n the brief history of our radio we’ve met a lot of talented artists, visually supporting various collectives in their musical output. And that’s exactly what sparked the inspiration for this project, to push forward their work and display it in a museum of modern art.
Parallelogram wil be therefore be hosted by three different video artists, each with their own aesthetics and techniques. Meet the visual host of our opening on Tuesday evening, March 7: Blikschade.
Working in the extra dimension where technology meets art, Blikschade focuses on immersive visuals and reinventing themselves in retro and new tech. Blikschade is also part of the Jean-Jacques Collective where they bring art to people and people to art.
