Words: The lyrics are in French, and while I don’t understand them fully, it’s clear they delve into themes of blasphemy, occultism, and esotericism. The venomous vocal delivery leaves no doubt that this album drips with pure, unfiltered blasphemy. If you’re looking for deeply misanthropic, raw, atmospheric, and blasphemous Black Metal with strong second-wave influences, L’aube des Anathèmes is definitely worth your time.
