📘NEW STUDY: Public Sector Efficiency in the EU
The public sector plays a critical role in providing essential goods and services and promoting economic stability and social welfare. However, how efficient are Member States in delivering?

- 📈 Public expenditure has grown at an annual rate of 3.22% since 1995.
- 💰 In 2022, public expenditure in the EU27 reached 49.4 percent of GDP.
- 💶 High debt a significant contributor.
- 🇩🇰& 🇮🇪 are at the top of the efficiency rating, with 🇫🇷 ranking lowest.
