In 1980, a young woman, her brother and his best friend set off on the adventure of adult life. Brimming with good intentions, they embark on a promising future. Vicky as a law student at Université Libre de Bruxelles, Marc and Franky as recruits with the Belgian Gendarmerie. But in the years that follow, they each lose their innocence and illusions. Just like their whole country, they sink deeper and deeper into a swamp that came to be called the Nijvel Gang.

On 9th December for our industry day we will welcome Danish writer 𝐉𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐬𝐞𝐧! 🤩​​​​​​​

For the past 12 years, screenwriter Jenny Lund Madsen has written numerous episodes of various Danish series, both as a head writer and episode writer. Her credits include shows such as 𝑭𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒚 (𝑩𝒆𝒅𝒓𝒂𝒈), 𝑹𝒊𝒕𝒂, 𝑴𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒖𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒋𝒊𝒕 𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒔. Jenny has studied screenwriting at the University of California Los Angeles and holds a master’s degree in film studies from the University of Copenhagen.

🎞️ Discover the two first episodes of the Belgian RTBF-VRT coproduced TV series, written by Willem Wallyn (All of Us, De 16, Film 1) and directed by Wouter Bouvijn (Red Light, De twaalf).

🎉Yesterday was the last day of the festival with the premiere of the Belgian series PANDORE.
Thanks to Savina Dellicour, Salomé Richard, Vania Leturcq and Anne Coesens for closing the festival with a bang. ✊
We can't wait to see the rest of the episodes in February 2022 on RTBF!
