Okwy Osadebe and Highlife Sound Makers International deliver classic sounding but fully contemporary highlife made in Nigeria on “Ifunanya”. From the Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean, off the coast of Madagascar, Lindigo Officiel has been delivering classic maloya music for over two decades. “Oyé Maloya” is a masterpiece of drums and call-and-response vocals, the way we are used to from these ambassadors of maloya music.

📣 Belgian Worldwide Music Night 2022: the call for participation is open! 📣

On 23 May 2022, the BWMN will once again organise the Belgian Worldwide Music Meeting followed by the Showcase Night.

From now on until 11 February, you can nominate artists for the longlist. An external jury will then make the final selection.

❗The requirements:
You must be a member to nominate artists (membership is free!) and it must be a local production with recent news (album release,...) in 2021 or 2022.
