ROEXPAT (NGO) is an online press organization, registered in Belgium's under the number 0763.916.174 and having in focus, mainly, the Romanian community in Belgium. The project started in December 2019, in Brussels, with the online magazine roexpat.be. Later we've created the page and also the ROEXPAT Discussion Group, where we actively promote the articles published in the magazine but a
lso our own video shows/podcasts or lives. On the last two social media communication channels, we also promote information on general interest, released by the Romanian or Belgian authorities, news, and events from both countries. ROEXPAT (NGO) also aims to bring to the forefront the successes of Romanians settled in Belgium, to help promote them both among the Romanian and Belgian communities. Through our publications and the undertaken actions together with the Romanian or Belgian authorities and also with the various non-governmental organizations from RO & BE, we contribute intensely to good knowledge and integration of the Romanian diaspora in the adoptive country, while maintaining its connection with the native land. ROEXPAT contributes to the preservation of Romanian traditions and values by promoting them in informative materials when we are invited as media partners. ROEXPAT informs the Romanian community in Belgium and not only about the latest news in various fields, such as socio-cultural and political matters. ROEXPAT, as a press organization, acts as a bridge between different Romanian NGOs in Belgium and the Romanian community, contributing to the promotion of various events organized by associations, but we also promote associations, public figures, companies, politicians etc. through our interviews and podcasts. ROEXPAT presents different points of view of the Belgian or Romanian politicians, involving the whole political spectrum, debates, political programs of interest for the Romanian community. ROEXPAT is the place where the voice of the Romanian diaspora in Belgium is heard. If you want to be heard by the Romanian community, say it to ROEXPAT !
