[NEW AND LOVING IT]
Following 𝘙𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘺, released in 2024, this second volume shows Don Kapot at their most liberated, with completely improvised structures that build as the album progresses.

“Antistrofos Illigos” means “Reverse Vertigo” and this album exudes a certain aesthetic radicalism that won't appeal to everyone. But it might be more necessary today than ever before, as the very idea of freedom is under threat.

The trio leaves no room for self-reflection, resulting in something raw and instinctive. They demonstrate their ability to instantly generate a clear narrative and give their all to the ensemble, in a single gesture.

[NEW SINGLE]

Pianist Bas Bulteel Music has been exploring the boundaries of solo piano work for several years. His first solo album, 'Eye Of The Storm' (September 2024) was shaped by influences from minimalism and contemporary avant-garde pianists.

In the months that followed, Bas recorded an extensive collection of free improvisations - created entirely in the moment, guided by intuition and openness. These recordings will be bundled on the new upcoming digital release 'Improvised Textures' (January 2026).

Today, we’re thrilled to share the first single from that new project: 'Whist'. A piece born from pure artistic freedom - letting go, stepping into the unknown, and transforming that journey into spontaneous, boundary-free improvisation, shaped entirely by the mood of the moment.

We’re thrilled to share e l d e r s, the new album by Volpe - the trio led by Heleen Andriessen, with Kobe Boon and Stijn Demuynck.

Heleen draws inspiration from both Rachmaninov and Radiohead, and the trio takes her ideas and transforms them into music that unfolds slowly, sometimes tender and meditative, sometimes bright and bursting with color.

e l d e r s (Dutch for “elsewhere”) isn’t a physical place, but a refuge in Heleen’s mind, a space to discover beauty on gray November days. Everyday details become gateways to this imaginative, hopeful world, where repetition becomes rhythm, dissonance feels like warmth, and small moments open into something bigger.

Three musicians lifting each other up, creating music that is intimate, joyful, and full of life.
