The first time I bought records, was also the first time I had spend money on music.

It took me 17 years to actually spend money on one of the things that had stayed a constant in my life: consuming music. But I grew up with a computer and a broadband-Ethernet connection, so everything I could download was free. I didn’t feel bad about downloading albums, movies or software.

So why did I buy those first records?

I was always into music and by then I started spending my weekends at the all night raves. Fell in love with the AcidTekno / AcidCore parties, fell in love with the music and discovered a whole underground music community. And one night I ordered a couple records.
