In 1994, Mixomaz began his DJ career as Kevin in “The PromisedLand,” a basement lounge bar in Kontich (Antwerp) that catered to the young and beautiful. By the end of 1996,
due to the growing demand, he expanded his horizons with the creation of Area 51, continuing his success story. Career Highlights:
Mixomaz's quest for new challenges led him to perform at venues like Bell’s Café and Shooters in Boom (Antwerp), and Red&Blue, one of the most beautiful clubs in Antwerp, renowned for its legendary Studio '54 nights. His ability to deviate from the norm, interact with the crowd, and focus on top-quality house music, made his six-year residency at Red&Blue a resounding success and an unforgettable experience. Transformation to Mixomaz:
In 2006, he rebranded himself as Mixomaz, opening up new opportunities and challenges. He went on to perform at notable venues and events such as Ocean Club (Marbella, Spain), La Rocca, Legacy Festival, Beachland Festival, Tomorrowland, 12Inch Lovers Festival, Vintage Festival, Natural Highs Festival, Cafeina and his residency @ Back2Basicz. His talent also took him to Ibiza, where he performed at premier venues including Destino, Santos, Savannah, Ta**ra, Pacha, Ushuaia, and Es Vive Hotel. Mixomaz's journey is a testament to his unwavering commitment to the essence of house music, his innovative approach to DJing, and his ability to captivate audiences across the globe.
