Sold out.
It's always an odd feeling when one of your books is sold out. It feels great, because it means it has been succesful. Yet it's also some sort of goodbye to a project that has required tons of love and attention.
It has taken quite some time to sell this one out, even if has won a few prizes, while most readers are extremely enthusiastic about it.
But we had to learn that books on car design are not as popular as one might have hoped, contrary to books on fashion or architecture for instance. Also, not many car designers actually fall for books on their profession. I still fail to understand why this is.
Still, almost ten years after we've made this book, it's fair to say that it has become a testimonial of the state of affairs in car design one decade ago.
And now we're wondering whether there's room for a sequel...
