Vol ongeloof, met verscheurd hart en een pijn die onbeschrijflijk is, laat ik weten dat m’n lieve Bob gisteren tijdens het rusten niet meer is wakker geworden. Hij was in Spanje met z’n fietsvrienden en deed daar wat hij het liefste deed: fietsen.
Ik kan troost vinden in het feit dat Bob zich de laatste tijd heel goed voelde, trots was op zijn conditie, veel fijne plannen had gemaakt voor de toekomst samen met zijn gezin en vrienden.
Camiel en Anna verliezen een vader met het grootste hart. De Bomma verliest een prachtige, zorgzame zoon.
Gino en Frank verliezen een betrokken, lieve broer. Victor verliest z’n trouwste supporter. Z’n vele vrienden en vriendinnen verliezen een echte vriend.
Wat ikzelf verlies, is niet met woorden te beschrijven.
Ik ga jou, Bob, zo immens hard missen…
