ম্যাজিস্ট্রেসি পাওয়ার : সেনাবাহিনী কী কী করতে পারবে
আইনের এসব ধারা অনুযায়ী একজন নির্বাহী ম্যাজিস্ট্রেটের যেসব ক্ষমতা রয়েছে-
ধারা ৬৪ : ম্যাজিস্ট্রেটের উপস্থিতিতে অপরাধ সংঘটনকারী ব্যক্তিকে গ্রেপ্তার করার বা গ্রেপ্তারের নির্দেশ দেওয়ার এবং হেফাজতে রাখার ক্ষমতা।
ধারা ৬৫ : গ্রেপ্তার করার ক্ষমতা বা তার উপস্থিতিতে গ্রেপ্তারের নির্দেশনা যার জন্য তিনি গ্রেপ্তারি পরোয়ানা জারি করতে পারেন।
ধারা ৮৩/৮৪/৮৬ : ওয়ারেন্ট অনুমোদন করার ক্ষমতা বা ওয়ারেন্টের অধীনে গ্রেপ্তারকৃত অভিযুক্ত ব্যক্তিকে অপসারণের আদেশ দেওয়ার ক্ষমতা।
ধারা ৯৫(২) : নথিপত্র ইত্যাদির জন্য ডাক ও টেলিগ্রাফ কর্তৃপক্ষের দ্বারা অনুসন্ধান এবং আটক করার ক্ষমতা।
ধারা ১০০ : ভুলভাবে বন্দি ব্যক্তিদের হাজির করার জন্য অনুসন্ধান-ওয়ারেন্ট জারি করার ক্ষমতা।
ধারা ১০৫ : সরাসরি তল্লাশি করার ক্ষমতা, তার (ক্ষমতাপ্রাপ্ত ব্যক্তি) উপস্থিতিতে যে কোনো স্থানে অনুসন্ধানের জন্য তিনি সার্চ ওয়ারেন্ট জারি করতে পারেন।
ধারা ১০৭ : শান্তি বজায় রাখার জন্য নিরাপত্তার প্রয়োজনীয় ক্ষমতা।
ধারা ১০৯ : ভবঘুরে এবং সন্দেহভাজন ব্যক্তির ভালো আচরণের জন্য নিরাপত্তার প্রয়োজনীর ক্ষমতা।
ধারা ১১০ : ভালো আচরণের জন্য নিরাপত্তা প্রয়োজনীয় ক্ষমতা।
ধারা ১২৬ : জামিনের নিষ্পত্তি করার ক্ষমতা।
ধারা ১২৭ : বেআইনি সমাবেশ ছত্রভঙ্গ করার আদেশ দানের ক্ষমতা।
ধারা ১২৮ : বেআইনি সমাবেশ ছত্রভঙ্গ করার জন্য বেসামরিক শক্তি ব্যবহার করার ক্ষমতা।
ধারা ১৩০ : বেআইনি সমাবেশ ছত্রভঙ্গ করার জন্য সামরিক শক্তি ব্যবহার করার ক্ষমতা।
ধারা ১৩৩ : স্থানীয় উপদ্রব নিয়ন্ত্রণে ক্ষেত্র বিশেষে ব্যবস্থা হিসেবে আদেশ জারি করার ক্ষমতা।
ধারা ১৪২ : জনসাধারণের উপদ্রবের ক্ষেত্রে অবিলম্বে ব্যবস্থা হিসেবে আদেশ জারি করার ক্ষমতা।
