Parents want to make you happy, but they usually don't know what makes you happy. If they see you unhappy afterwards, they will feel sad and this sadness makes no sense. Unhappiness is always personal. Parents love you, love and do everything for their wellbeing in return, but never allow them to make you unhappy in the name of love. Maybe one day they'll die but your unhappiness won't. People who can't forgive their parents suffer the most.
