My school my pride

My school is different from other schools and I love my school. I am penning down my thoughts on what makes my school different…….. Can you think of the place, where one meets children from different backgrounds, temperaments, some mischievous, some bright, some really cute. Could there be a better fairy land than a school which makes it possible for us to create all this? cool, where one makes friends, one plays, enjoys, learns and grows. Such a place, my friends, can only be a school! Dhadash Government Primary School is situated at Belpukuria Union of Puthia upazilla, Rajshahi. It was established in 1967. 32 percent area of the school was donated by some very kind native people. The school is 14 kilometers away from upazilla. The school consists of 3 buildings and 6 classrooms. There are 350 students, 9 highly qualified teachers and a 4th class pion. We also have electricity in our school. We have attractive and informative office room and sufficient educational equipment. All the classrooms and decorated well for serving education. We have modern and well decorated pre-primary classroom and multimedia classroom. 4 of our teachers have taken ICT training to teach students with the modern methods. Since then we have started to take digital classes by making contents. The multimedia classroom has made a positive impact on our students. The School has a nice infrastructure with pure drinking water supply and modern wash block consisting of 6 rooms.

Primary Education Ministry have selected our school for “English In Action” program directed by the UK Government. Our teachers teach audio visually based on this program. Sports, Cub and other programs are also observed perfectly in this school. We have a library. Recently, Asia Foundation have interest our library by many more rare books with the help of Bangladesh Human Rights Resource Development Society (BHRRDS). The students also make brilliant results in Primary School Certificate (PSC) exam every year. Imagine how dull our lives would be if there were no schools. The open spacious grounds to run and play, the world of books, where one lives in the characters described in them, the experience of living a life with different characters in novels. Who would not want to remain 24 hours in a school like ours? Our school has a better sports culture than ours. We are indeed lucky to be educating in a school like ours. I love my school; it is like the blood which flows in my veins, I cannot live without it. I am what I am because of this wonderful part of my life. I can’t imagine my life without my school.
