WrestleVotes provided an update on when fans can expect CM Punk back in the WWE ring:

“As of last week’s RAW roster sheet, CM Punk’s official return date was set for the end of July. I’m told he likely won’t be cleared for action by Money in the Bank on 7/6, but he should be ready for SummerSlam on 8/3.”

CM Punk is getting evaluated by the doctors today and will be live this Friday on SmackDown to let fans know if he will be cleared to wrestle. It is highly likely that WWE will run an angle with him and Drew McIntyre to set up their match for Summerslam.
