Back in May, 24fps' Tom Strodedl was honored to receive the 2024 Golden Pen Award for Media Ambassador from the Croatian Tourism Board. I am truly humbled to be recognized among such esteemed journalists and content creators.

The four days were filled with breathtaking sights, memorable tours, and delicious food. The best part? Meeting amazing people along the way. A huge thank you to Leila Kresic-Juric and the for organizing this unforgettable experience and for the prestigious recognition.

My Croatian adventures began several years ago when we featured the country as one of the 13 stunning locations for our travel series on the Fine Living Network, with a reach of nearly 40 million homes. "Any Given Latitude," focused on travelers seeking luxury, local flavor, and adventure, taking viewers to destinations offering all three. Croatia did not disappoint.

Since then, I've been fortunate to return to Croatia multiple times, creating a diverse catalog of content. Highlights include documenting the reopening of the Dubrovnik cable car with its breathtaking views from Mount Srđ, the historic Palagruža regatta dating back to 1593, capturing a charity tennis match between legends John McEnroe and Goran Ivanišević, and exploring shipwrecks along Croatia's Adriatic coast, Including the largest and best-preserved ancient artifact, with over 1,800 amphorae dating from the 2nd century AD.
