Such a blessing to be with our dearest friends in the last hours of 2024! And such a blessing to be asleep long before midnight!!! We started with Dom Perignon and homemade gravlax and then filet mignon — and ended with the best apple pie ever from Costco! I had the honor of meeting President Jimmy Carter at St. John’s Church across from the White House on inauguration day, January 2017. That this former president was there to greet incoming president Donald Trump says everything about his love of country and his love of God RIP, brother.
