🔴 ১৮ ডিসেম্বর দুপুর ২টা থেকে পরবর্তী নির্দেশ না দেওয়া পর্যন্ত ইজতেমা ময়দানসহ আশপাশের তিন কিলোমিটার এলাকায় জনসাধারণের জমায়েত নিষিদ্ধ করা হয়েছে।

🔴 এখন পর্যন্ত ইজতেমায় অংশ নিতে পারবেনা মর্মে সরকারের পক্ষ থেকে কারো ওপর কোন নিষেধাজ্ঞা আরোপ করা হয়নি। উভয় পক্ষকে আলোচনার সুযোগ দেয়া হয়েছে।

২০২৬ সালের ৩০ জুনের মধ্যে জাতীয় সংসদ নির্বাচন হবে- এমন তথ্য জানিয়েছেন অন্তর্বর্তী সরকারের প্রধান উপদেষ্টা অধ্যাপক ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনূসের প্রেস সচিব শফিকুল আলম।

তিনি বলেন, জাতীয় সংসদ নির্বাচন কবে হবে তার রোডম্যাপ প্রধান উপদেষ্টা তার ভাষণে দিয়েছেন। এর চেয়ে পরিষ্কার রোডম্যাপ কী হতে পারে? আপনি আশা করতে পারেন, ২০২৬ সালের ৩০ জুনের মধ্যে নির্বাচন হবে।

আজ বিকালে ফরেন সার্ভিস একাডেমিতে সমসাময়িক ইস্যুতে ব্রিফিংকালে প্রেস সচিব এসব কথা বলেন।

গোপালগঞ্জে প্রাক-বড়দিন অনুষ্ঠানের বিরায়ানি খেয়ে দুই শতাধিক শিশু-কিশোর অসুস্থ

স্থানীয়রা জানায়, সকাল থেকে তালিকাভুক্ত ৩ শতাধিক শিশু-কিশোরকে নিয়ে প্রাক-বড়দিন অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করে চার্চ অব বাংলাদেশ। দুপুরে শিশুদের বিরিয়ানির প্যাকেট দেয়া হয়। সেই খাবার খাওয়ার পর অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়ে শিশুরা। এরই মধ্যে ৬০জন শিশুকে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়েছে।
কান্দি ইউনিয়নের ওই চার্চের প্রজেক্ট ম্যানেজার রিপন কুন্দা বলেন, শিশু-কিশোরকে দুপুর ২ টার দিকে বিরিয়ানি খাবারের প্যাকেট দেয়া হয়। এই বিরিয়ানির প্যাকেট বাড়িতে নিয়ে শিশু-কিশোররা খাওয়ার পরে সন্ধ্যার দিকে তাদের বমি ও পাতলা পায়খানা শুরু হয়।
উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার পরিকল্পনা কর্মকর্তা কুমার মৃদুল দাস বলেন, সন্ধ্যার দিক থেকে হাসপাতালে বমি ও পাতলা পায়খানা জনিত সমস্যা নিয়ে শিশু-কিশোরেরা আসতে থাকে। সময় বাড়ার সাথে সাথে এই রোগীদের চাপ বাড়তে থাকে। প্রাথমিকভাবে ধারণা করা হচ্ছে খাদ্যে বিষক্রিয়ায় কারণে এই ঘটনা ঘটতে পারে।

মহান বিজয় দিবস উপলক্ষ্যে পবিত্র কোরআন খতম করে দেশের জন্য আত্মদানকারী বীর শহিদদের স্মরণ করেছে ফেনী শহরের মারকায উমর (রা.) মাদরাসার শিক্ষার্থীরা। আজ সকালে দিবসটি উপলক্ষ্যে জাতীয় পতাকা বুকে নিয়ে শহিদদের মাগফিরাত ও দেশ-জাতির কল্যাণ কামনায় দোয়া করা হয়। পরে একটি র‍্যালি নিয়ে শহরের প্রধান প্রধান সড়ক প্রদক্ষিণ করেন শিক্ষার্থীরা। জাতীয় পতাকা হাতে নিয়ে দেশপ্রেমের চেতনায় উদ্বুদ্ধ হয়ে মাদরাসা পড়ুয়াদের এমন আয়োজনের প্রশংসা করছেন স্থানীয়রা।

মাদরাসার সহকারী শিক্ষক মো. নাদের চৌধুরী বলেন, আজকের আয়োজনে মুক্তিযুদ্ধের বীর শহীদ ও ২৪ এর বিপ্লবীদের স্মরণ করা হয়েছে। এসব ইতিহাস ধারণ করে নতুন বাংলাদেশ বিনির্মাণে শিক্ষার্থীদের উজ্জীবিত করতে আমরা কাজ করছি।

সিলেটে মোবাইল চার্জ দেওয়া নিয়ে মাইকে ঘোষণা দিয়ে তিন গ্রামের মধ্যে সংঘর্ষ, নিহত ১

সিলেটের কোম্পানীগঞ্জে মোবাইল চার্জ দেওয়াকে কেন্দ্র করে মাইকে ঘোষণা দিয়ে তিন গ্রামের মধ্যে সংঘর্ষের ঘটনা ঘটেছে। সংঘর্ষে ১ জন নিহত হয়েছেন। আহত হন কমপক্ষে ৬০ জন। পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রণ করতে পুলিশ টিয়ারশেল ও রাবার বুলেট নিক্ষেপ করেছে।

জানা যায়, গতকাল সন্ধ্যায় মোবাইল চার্জ দেওয়াকে কেন্দ্র করে স্থানীয় দুজনের কথাকাটাকাটি হয়। এর জের ধরে রাতে উপজেলার বন্নি ও কাঁঠালবাড়ি গ্রামের লোকজনের মধ্যে সংঘর্ষ বেধে যায়। পরে এটি ত্রিমুখী সংঘর্ষে পরিণত হয়। যাতে প্রায় ৪০ জন আহত হন। এ সময় বেশকিছু দোকান ভাঙচুর ও গাড়িতে অগ্নিসংযোগ করা হয়। পরে পুলিশ ও সেনাবাহিনী এসে পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রণে আসেন। আহতরা স্থানীয় হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীনে রয়েছে। আজ সকালে মাইকে ঘোষণা করে আবারও কোম্পানীগঞ্জ থানা সদর, বর্ণি ও কাঁঠালবাড়িসহ ৩ গ্রামের মধ্যে সংঘর্ষ শুরু হয়।
