To clean the C drive in Windows 10, you can follow these steps:
Disk Cleanup Utility:
Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box.
Type "cleanmgr" in the Run dialog box and press Enter or click OK. This will open the Disk Cleanup utility.
Select the C drive from the drop-down menu and click OK.
The utility will calculate the amount of space you can free up on the C drive.
Check the boxes next to the file types you want to delete, or select "Clean up system files" for more options.
Click OK, and then click Delete Files to confirm.
Temporary Files:
Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box.
Type "%temp%" in the Run dialog box and press Enter or click OK. This will open the Temp folder.
Press Ctrl + A to select all the files and folders in the Temp folder.
Press the Delete key on your keyboard to delete them.
Downloads Folder:
Open File Explorer by pressing the Windows key + E on your keyboard.
In the left sidebar, click on "This PC" or "My Computer" to view your drives.
Double-click on the C drive to open it.
Locate the "Downloads" folder and open it.
Select all the files and folders you want to delete (you can use Ctrl + A to select all).
Right-click and choose Delete, or press the Delete key on your keyboard.
Recycle Bin:
Locate the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop and double-click to open it.
Click on the "Empty Recycle Bin" button to permanently delete all the files in the Recycle Bin.
Uninstall Unnecessary Programs:
Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app.
Click on "Apps" or "Apps & features."
You will see a list of installed programs. Select the ones you no longer need and click on the "Uninstall" button next to each program.
