Are Uber Eats Prices the Same as In-Store? My Recent Experience
Have you ever noticed that the prices on Uber Eats don’t always match the prices in the store? Recently, I had an experience with B12 Burger in Montreal that left me frustrated and concerned.
When I checked the in-store menu, I realized the prices on Uber Eats were completely different—higher, without any explanation or notice to customers. On top of that, when I tried to contact their support, there was no response. I called, sent a message, and even tried the listed number, but it wasn’t working anymore.
This raises an important question: how can companies like this get away with what feels like a white-collar fraud? They increase prices on delivery platforms without informing customers, and when you try to ask for help, there’s no one to talk to.
It’s concerning for everyone who uses these platforms. When are we supposed to address these issues, and how do we ensure accountability? Let’s start a conversation about this because it’s not just about convenience—it’s about fairness and trust.
