es and one-off shows for state-run Bangladesh Television (BTV). Initially broadcasting pre-recorded programs for 12 hours a day, we soon expanded to round-the-clock coverage, becoming the first digital channel in Bangladesh. Channel i is a strong competitor among several domestic satellite channels, holding the highest market share among non-terrestrial channels in Bangladesh for the past decade. We commenced satellite transmissions using PanAm Sat on October 1, 1999, extending our reach to most parts of Asia and Australia.
