বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনের সমন্বয়কদের ওপর হামলার বিষয়টি সরকার হালকাভাবে দেখছে না বলে জানিয়েছেন অন্তর্বর্তী সরকারের পরিবেশ, বন ও জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন এবং পানি সম্পদ মন্ত্রণালয়ের উপদেষ্টা সৈয়দা রিজওয়ানা হাসান।

রাজধানী ঢাকার ফরেন সার্ভিস অ্যাকাডেমি মিলনায়তনে বৃহস্পতিবার রাতে বিফ্রিংয়ে তিনি এই কথা জানিয়েছেন।

রিজওয়ানা হাসান বলেন, 'সমন্বয়কদের ওপর হামলার বিষয়টিকে হালকাভাবে দেখার আসলে কোনো সুযোগ নেই। এই সমন্বয়করা বিভিন্ন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়ে জাতিকে যেভাবে ঐক্যবদ্ধ করার প্রয়াস চালাচ্ছেন, জাতির বিবেককে যেভাবে জাগ্রত করছেন, এটা নিশ্চয়ই অনেকেরই স্বার্থে লাগবে। ফলে তাদের নিরাপত্তার বিষয়টা আজকে আমাদের কেবিনেটে তোলা হয়েছে।'

'তাদের যে নিরাপত্তা প্রয়োজন এটাও আলোচনা হয়েছে কিন্তু এটার ব্যাপারে বিস্তারিত কোনো সিদ্ধান্ত হয়নি। তবে এটাকে সরকার একেবারেই হালকাভাবে দেখছে না। সরকারের দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত সংস্থা তদন্ত কাজ করছে,' বলেন তিনি।

ইসকন নিষিদ্ধের বিষয়ে সরকারে কোনো আলোচনা হয়নি

কোনো সংস্থা নিষিদ্ধ করার কোনো আলোচনা সরকারের মধ্যে হয়নি জানিয়ে রিজওয়ানা হাসান বলেন, 'দাবি অনেকই উঠতে পারে। দাবির সপক্ষে মানুষ অনেক কর্মসূচিও দিতে পারে। ব্যক্তির অপরাধের সঙ্গে সংস্থার অপরাধ আমরা জড়িয়ে ফেলছি না।'
তিনি বলেন, 'একটি সুনির্দিষ্ট অভিযোগের ভিত্তিতে একজনকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়েছে। তার ব্যাপারে আইনি প্রক্রিয়া চলছে। তিনি অভিযুক্ত হতেও পারেন, অভিযুক্ত নাও হতে পারে সেটা আদালত দেখবেন। আজকেই দেখলাম, ইসকনের পক্ষ থেকে একটি সম্মেলন করে বলা হয়েছে তাদের সঙ্গে যাকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়েছে তার কোনো সম্পর্ক নেই।'
