Dainik Bangla is the historical Bangla daily which aided Bangladesh to the Liberation War and played an important role in modern journalism. The daily started its journey as Dainik Pakistan on 6 November, 1964 and managed to attract the attention of the mass people due to its innovative way of storytelling, contents, print and makeup. Just after the day Bangladesh got independence from Pakistan, t

he name was changed to Dainik Bangla. The newspaper played a vital role in publishing reports on war criminals, which were used as evidence in the Bangladesh war crimes tribunal. Such was the impact that an important road junction in Dhaka was named after the newspaper. In 1975, Dainik Bangla was nationalized. The newspaper was closed in 1997. After 25 years, Dainik Bangla has resumed its proceedings once again from September 4, 2022. A website of Dainik bangla has been launched as well (https://www.dainikbangla.com.bd/) where visitors can get updates 24*7.
