Grameenphone has posted Tk1,194 crore in profit after taxes for the second quarter of 2023, nearly 30% higher than the same period of the previous year. EPS has been increased due to an increase in net profit after tax. NOCFPS has been decreased due to higher payment of income tax. NAVPS has increased due to higher profits.

Linde Bangladesh Limited has reported a 28% year-on-year decline in its annual profit for 2022, owing to high production costs and the appreciation of the dollar against the taka. But despite a profit decline, the company recommended a 420% cash dividend for 2022. Linde BD will hold an annual general meeting on 11 May to secure shareholders' approval of the dividend. The record date has been set on 2 April.
