A simple singer/song writer song this one, based on the boxed chord progression that is the foundation to many of history's most popular songs. Been working on the first 2 verses of 'āĻāĻŦā§ āĻŦā§āĻāĻŦā§?', a tribute/cover track for āĻā§āĻ¯āĻžāĻ¨ā§āĻ¤ āĻĒā§āĻ¤ā§āĻ˛ - Jyanto Putul's 'āĻāĻŦā§ āĻĢāĻŋāĻ°āĻŦā§?'. Huge fan of their work, definitely give their tracks a listen.

Here I play-along to the chord progression of a Bossa Nova Jazz Standard. If you got a 5 string bass too early like I did and want to familiarise yourself with notes on the 'B' string then this is a great exercise. I ventured into the Jazz-funk genre here, the Bossa Nova beat was too tempting. Full video link in the comments section. There's a lot of low-low notes here which mobile phone speakers can't interpret accurately, so a good pair of headphones are recommended.
Here is a bass play along to another backing track in the style of 'The thrill is gone'. Dusted off an old acoustic bass I purchased a long time ago, needs a setup session for intonation and alignment but all in all didn't sound that bad.

Bass play long to a famous jazz standard and it's chord progression. Full video link in the comments section.
The Brian Jonestown Massacre's Anemone bass cover uploaded. This bass line has that typical boxed 4 chord progression using quarter notes accompanied by the traditional fingerstyle technique with a few groove variations here and there much like many of the world's most popular songs. Added a bit of chorus to the bass to play with the sound a bit. Full video link in the comments section.
This is the 3rd verse from 'āĻ¸ā§āĻā§āĻ° āĻāĻžāĻ°āĻžāĻāĻžāĻ°', a song that I wrote. Here is a clip from one of my practice sessions, thought of sharing this as I was walking through the ocean of plastic bottles and disposable plates/cutlery at the concert on May 10th, watching everyone throwing trash onto the ground with misplaced anger thereby indirectly hurting their motherland.
Drums added to Jose Gonzalez's In Our Nature, using the Alesis DM10's MIDI signal along with Logic Pro's sound library. Let me know your thoughts on the output.
Have been working on the 3rd verse of 'Kobe Bujhbe?', which drum part do you think is better for this segment?
One for the metal heads. A song that emphasizes the power of the open E string. Simple yet highly effective. YouTube link of full video in the comments section.
