CHILD LABOUR IS ILLEGAL!

Government social protection systems are essential to fight poverty and vulnerability, and eradicate and prevent child labour.

Social protection is both a human right and a potent policy tool to prevent families from resorting to child labour in times of crisis. However, as of 2020 and before the COVID-19 crisis took hold, only 46.9 per cent of the global population were effectively covered by at least one social protection benefit while the remaining 53.1 per cent – as many as 4.1 billion people – were left wholly unprotected. Coverage for children is even lower. Nearly three quarters of children, 1.5 billion, lacked social protection.

The 2022 theme of the world day calls for increased investment in social protection systems and schemes to establish solid social protection floors and protect children from child labour.

From our childhood, we saw her lunacy. Who gives her food without even eating it? Who takes care of us all night without sleeping if we fall sick? Who sacrifices all of them for us?

Only our mother does. Mothers are warriors. They fought against their own bodies and took all the pain for us for 9 months. Undoubtedly, they're warriors. No matter how old we get, we’ll always need our mother's shadow.

Workers’ Memorial Day is a set standard to remember those who have fallen while on the job, as well as a commitment to finding improved safety regulations for the workers of today.

It was first celebrated by the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO), the largest workers union organization in the U.S.

Bangladesh also recognizes the 28th of April every year as "Workers Memorial Day". It's the day when we put our respects to workers who lost their lives doing the job and acknowledge the tragic events and losses on the society's families as well as the co-workers.

During COVID-19, doctors, nurses, grocery workers, delivery workers, and many other health workers, as well as the industrial workers, devoted their lives more consequently even though their lives were at risk. Some of them were sickened or died as a result of just going to work. This is the day of honoring every worker who lost their life due to fatal illnesses and injuries.

Workers Memorial Day is celebrated for us to commit and make sure that others do not suffer from the same tragic events.

International Intellectual Property Day!

Intellectual property means creations of the mind, inventions, literary, artistic works, images, designs, symbols, names, etc. which means some creativity that is a person's property.

In 1886 "Bern International Agreements" gives recognition of intellectual properties to some independent countries. It requires organizations like the European Union or countries of world trade.

The event, "World Intellectual Property Day" was established by the World Intellectual Property Organization(WIPO) in 2000, on 26th April to raise awareness about impactful reactions, in our daily life to patents, copyright, trademarks, and design. To give the proper honor to its creator the day also has been celebrated till now.

We must know, how to use and enforce intellectual property laws properly. Not only that, but this great responsibility to inform others also.

All intellectual property should be preserved properly.

9th anniversary of the World's biggest industrial disaster-Rana Plaza collapse.

24 April, One of the saddest days for the nation. The commercial building came crashing down on the morning of this day killing almost 1132 people and injuring more than 2500. Also, more than 150 people are still missing.

Most of the victims were garment workers who worked in one of the five factories in the eight-story building built in a shoddy manner.

The fight for a safe environment of work over corporate profits is still going on. But much progress hasn't been detected in the last nine years.

Years after years are passing but the wait for justice is not seeming to come to an end!

On this tragic day, we mourn the loss of every victim!

Today, April 23, is World Book Day.The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) had decided to observe World Book Day on April 23, 1995.Since then, April 23 has been World Book Day.

The aim of the day is to encourage reading at all levels, to encourage people to get involved in literature. And to show and find out the beneficial aspects of reading books. The main focus is on children and young people.

The theme for this year's (2022) World Book Day is "You're a Reader." And the focus is on getting books into the hands of kids.

Despite the distance, a reader or writer can express himself to others and read books and travel freely in the world of his imagination.

51th earth day is here! The Demand for a sustainable environment on this planet earth is growing more and more every year on 22 April.

Nearly 200 countries and thousands of organisations are celebrating World Earth Day protesting climate crisis for a polution free stable green living.

The first earth day was formed in 1970 after the book Silent Spring had gone mainstream awareness issue concerning public health and pollution in 1962.

In 1990, Earth day became a global movement linking 141 countries and millions of activists perticipating in it.

Modern World Earth day is a large-scale celebration to raise awareness about Industrial pollution, green house crisis, wildfire, carbon emmision, severe health crisis on world stage which sometimes become a week longer event.

Today is April 2nd, World Autism Awareness Day. The United Nations decided to observe World Autism Awareness Day in 2007 to raise awareness of people with autism spectrum disorder around the world and increase the acceptance of autism as a normal person.

This day has been celebrated all over the world since 2008. Every year the United Nations comes up with a theme to celebrate World Autism Awareness Day. This year's theme is "Included in the Workplace."
