সুন্দরবন হল বঙ্গোপসাগরে গঙ্গা, ব্রহ্মপুত্র ও মেঘনা নদীর সঙ্গম দ্বারা গঠিত ব-দ্বীপের একটি ম্যানগ্রোভ এলাকা। বাংলাদেশের সুন্দরবন সংরক্ষিত বন বিশ্বের বৃহত্তম ম্যানগ্রোভ বন। সুন্দরবন জুড়ে শত শত খাল এবং বিল ছড়িয়ে রয়েছে, যা পৃথিবীর সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ ম্যানগ্রোভ বনের জীবনরেখা। ভোরবেলা সব পশু-পাখি এসব সরু খাঁড়ি ও খালে পানি পান করতে আসে। সুন্দরবন দেখার বেস্ট month নভেম্বর থেকে শুরু হয়ে ফেব্রুয়ারী পর্যন্ত।

মসজিদটি বাংলার সুলতান আলাউদ্দিন হোসেন শাহের শাসনামলে 1493 থেকে 1519 সালের মধ্যে নির্মিত হয়েছিল। মসজিদটির পনেরটি গম্বুজ একবার সোনালি করা হয়েছিল, যা মসজিদটিকে ছোট সোনা মসজিদ (ছোট সোনার মসজিদ) নাম দেয়। মসজিদটি বাংলাদেশ সরকারের প্রত্নতত্ত্ব ও জাদুঘর অধিদপ্তর দ্বারা সুরক্ষিত সুলতানা স্মৃতিস্তম্ভগুলির মধ্যে অন্যতম। যে বিল্ডিংটিকে এর নাম দিয়েছে তার আর অস্তিত্ব নেই। মসজিদ চত্বর, যা উত্তর থেকে দক্ষিণে 43.5 মিটার পূর্ব থেকে পশ্চিমে 42 মিটার এলাকা জুড়ে, মূলত পূর্ব দিকের মাঝখানে একটি প্রবেশদ্বার সহ একটি বাইরের প্রাচীর (এখন পুনরুদ্ধার করা হয়েছে) দ্বারা বেষ্টিত ছিল।

ষাট গম্বুজ মসজিদ, বাংলাদেশের বাগেরহাটের একটি মসজিদ। এটি ইউনেস্কো ওয়ার্ল্ড হেরিটেজ সাইট বাগেরহাটের মসজিদ শহরের একটি অংশ। এটি সুলতানি আমল থেকে বাংলাদেশের সবচেয়ে বড় মসজিদ। এটি বাংলা সালতানাতের সময় সুন্দরবনের গভর্নর খান জাহান আলী দ্বারা নির্মিত হয়েছিল। মসজিদটি অনন্য যে, এটিতে 60টি স্তম্ভ রয়েছে যা 77টি দুর্দান্তভাবে বাঁকা "লো স্কোয়াট গম্বুজ" সমর্থন করে যা সময়ের সাথে সাথে হারিয়ে গেছে; এটির সাতটি কেন্দ্রীয় গম্বুজ রয়েছে যা চারপাশে এবং বাংলা শৈলীতে নির্মিত। এটি 1440 সালে খান জাহান আলী দ্বারা প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল।

সাজেক ভ্যালি রাঙামাটি জেলার বাঘাইছড়ি উপজেলার সাজেক ইউনিয়নের কাসালং পর্বতমালার পাহাড়ের মাঝে অবস্থিত বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম জনপ্রিয় পর্যটন স্পট। উপত্যকাটি সমুদ্রপৃষ্ঠ থেকে 2,000 ফুট উপরে। সাজেক উপত্যকা রাঙামাটির পাহাড় ও ছাদের রানী হিসেবে পরিচিত। সাজেক উপত্যকা তার প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশের জন্য পরিচিত এবং এটি পাহাড়, ঘন বন এবং তৃণভূমি পাহাড়ী ট্র্যাক দ্বারা বেষ্টিত। পাহাড়ের মধ্য দিয়ে অনেক ছোট নদী প্রবাহিত হয় যার মধ্যে কাচালং এবং মাচালং উল্লেখযোগ্য। সাজেক উপত্যকায় যাওয়ার পথে ময়নী রেঞ্জ ও ময়নী নদী পার হতে হয়। চলুন না ঘুরে আসি সাজেক থেকে 😀

রাঙ্গামাটি বাংলাদেশের একমাত্র জেলা যেখানে দুটি দেশের সাথে আন্তর্জাতিক সীমান্ত রয়েছে: ভারত ও মায়ানমার। রাঙামাটি হল বাংলাদেশী দর্শকদের জন্য পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রামের সবচেয়ে জনপ্রিয় গন্তব্য, যারা দেশের বৃহত্তম কৃত্রিম হ্রদ কাপ্তাই লেকের নৈসর্গিক সৌন্দর্য উপভোগ করতে আসে, যেটি 1960 সালে জলবিদ্যুতের জন্য তৈরি করা হয়েছিল। রাঙামাটি কাজুবাদাম, তরমুজ, বাংলা কলা, কাপ্তাই হ্রদের তাজা মাছের জন্যও বিখ্যাত। কাপ্তাইতে একটি হাইড্রোলিক পাওয়ার প্ল্যান্ট এবং বেতবুনিয়া, কাউখলীতে টেরেস্ট্রিয়াল আর্থ স্যাটেলাইট থাকার জন্যও জেলাটি সবার কাছে পরিচিত। চলুন না ঘুরে আসি রাঙামাটি থেকে 😀

Puthia Rajbari is a palace in Puthia Upazilla, Rajshahi in Bangladesh, built in 1895, for Rani Hemanta Kumari Debi, it is an example of Indo-Saracenic Revival architecture. The palace is sited on the Rajshahi Natore highway 30 km from the east of the town and one km south from Rajshahi Natore highway. It is currently used by Lashkarpur Degree College but is in a poor state of repair.

Initially, Puthia was a village of Laskarpur Pargana, named after Laskar Khan Nilamber, the brother of the first zamindar of Puthia, who was the first to receive the title of Raja from the Mughal emperor Jahangir. A partition of the estate took place in 1744 and the zamindari was divided among 4 co shares among whom the panch ani (five annas) and char ani (four annas) co-shares become famous in conducting jamindary.

What is special about Bandarban, ?

Bandarban is the pious hub of Theravada Buddhism practiced by tribal communities like Marma or Mogh. Here you will find Buddha Dhatu Jadi, the largest Theravada Buddhist Temple of Bangladesh and the second biggest Buddha sculpture in the country. This Buddhist temple is called 'kyang' in the local language. The three highest peak of Bangladesh - Tahjindong (1280 meters, also known as bijoy, Mowdok Mual (1052 m), and Keokradong (1230 m), - are located in Bandarban district, as well as Raikhiang Lake, the highest lake in Bangladesh. Chimbuk peak and Boga Lake are two more highly noted features of the district. Sangu River is the complete element of the natural beauty of Bandarban. It follows a northernly circuitous course in the hill tracts up to Bandarban. It enters the district from the east and flows west across the district and finally falls into the bay of Bengal at the end of a course of 270 km. These places are best for mountains in Bandarban: Nilgiri Mountains. Chimbuk Hill. Keokradong.

Alta Dighi is one of the largest and oldest water reservoirs in Bangladesh. It is located at Dhamurhat upazila, about 60 km from Naogaon town near the India-Bangladesh border.
It is a place where the magic of heritage blends with the beauty of nature to give visitors a spell-binding experience.
The story behind the creation and naming of the dighi is as amazing as a fairy tale. There was a king in the area called Biswanath Jagadal in the 14th Century. The land area was arid and water crisis in the kingdom reached such a level during the tenure of the king that cultivating crops became impossible.
One day, the queen dreamt that only a large water reservoir could solve the water crisis. She informed the king about her dream, and asked him to excavate a water reservoir “as far as she could walk from a certain point until her feet bled”. One morning, the queen started walking accompanied by some attendants. She kept on walking and walking, and went so far that her attendants thought it would not be possible to dig such a large water reservoir. Then, one of her attendants poured some ‘alta’ (red colour) on her feet and cried out: “Rani Ma, your feet are bleeding!” Suddenly, the queen sat down there.
King Biswanath then had a water reservoir dug as far as the queen had walked. Mysteriously, as soon as the digging ended, the reservoir filled up with crystal clear water. Subsequently, it was named Alta Dighi as ‘alta’ that was used to trick the queen from walking any further.
The dighi is now 1,113 metres in length and 21 metres in width, with a depth of 3.8 metres.
There is an attractive reserve forest around the water reservoir that is home to a variety of trees. The government declared the forest area as a national park in 2011. However, it is a little known tourist destination in Bangladesh. As it is located in a very remote area, travelling there alone is not safe.
With a vision to turn the national park into a popular tourist spot, the authorities have recently taken up a development project to attract visitors from different parts of the country. After completion of the project, the Alta Dighi National Park will be recognised as a preserver of ‘biodiversity and wildlife’ and a new horizon will open for the country’s growing tourism industry.

তাজহাট জমিদার বাড়িটি রংপুর জাদুঘর থেকে প্রায় ৪ মাইল পূর্ব দক্ষিনে কোণে বর্তমান কৃষি ইনস্টিটিউট পাশে সবুজ গাছপালা পরিবেষ্টিত আর্কষর্ণীয় পরিবেশে অবস্থিত । জমিদার বাড়ির সামনে রয়েছে সমসাময়িককালে খননকৃত বিশাল আকৃতির ৪টি পুকুর। বর্তমান তাজহাটে বাজার হতে উত্তর দিক দিয়ে প্রধান ফটক অতিক্রম করে ক্রমান্বয়ে পশ্চিমে কয়েকশ’গজ পেরিয়ে জমিদার বাড়ির প্রধান প্রবেশ পথে আসা যায়।তাজহাট জমিদার মূলতঃ গোবিন্দ লালের পুত্র গোপাল লাল(জি.এল.রায়) এর সাথে সর্ম্পকযুক্ত যা স্থানীয়ভাবে তাজহাট জমিদার নামে পরিচিত।এ বংশের প্রকৃত প্রতিষ্ঠাতা ছিলেন মান্নানলাল রায়।তিনি সুদূর পাঞ্চাব হতে রংপুরের বিশিষ্ট সমৃদ্ধ স্থান মাহিগঞ্জে স্বর্ণ ব্যবসা করার জন্য এসেছিলেন।প্রাচীন রঙ্গপুরের ইতিহাস পুস্তক থেকে জানা যায় যে, মান্নানলাল রায় রঙ্গপুরের মাহিগঞ্জে এসেছিলেন হীরা, জহরত ও স্বর্ণ ব্যবসার জন্য। প্রথমে তিনি নানা ধরণের নামী দামী হীরা, মানিক জহরতখচিত তাজ বা টুপির ব্যবসা করেছিলেন ।উক্ত তাজ বিক্রির লক্ষে এখানে হাট বসে যা পরবর্তীতে বিরাট প্রসিদ্ধি লাভ করে এবং এ তাজহাটকে কেন্দ্র করে এই জমিদারবাড়ীর নামকরণ করা হয় তাজহাট জমিদার বাড়ি।

আহসান মঞ্জিল বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম উল্লেখযোগ্য স্থাপত্য নিদর্শন। বিল্ডিং টির কাঠামোটি 1 মিটার উঁচু প্ল্যাটফর্মে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল, দ্বিতল প্রাসাদটির পরিমাপ 125.4 মি বাই 28.75 মি। প্রথম তলার উচ্চতা 5 মিটার এবং প্রথম তলার উচ্চতা 5.8 মিটার। প্রাসাদের দেয়ালের পুরুত্ব প্রায় 0.78 মিটার। প্রাসাদের উত্তর ও দক্ষিণ দিকে 5 মিটার উচ্চতার বারান্দা রয়েছে। ভবনটির সামনের দিকে প্রশস্ত বুড়িগঙ্গা নদী রয়েছে। নদীর ধারে, একটি খোলা প্রশস্ত সিঁড়ি সরাসরি দ্বিতীয় পোর্টাল পর্যন্ত নিয়ে যায় এবং তাদের স্ট্যান্ডে বিশাল ত্রি-খিলানযুক্ত পোর্টাল রয়েছে।
