"মেঝে তে গর্ত ছিল এদিক সেদিক নানান মাপে
কিনেছি কার্পেট তাই সস্তা দরে সঠিক মাপে।
অতিথি এলে লুকোই নে মুখ লজ্জা দ্বিধায়
বরঞ্চ খ্যাতি জোটে আমার রুচির প্রশংসায়।

যে আসে সর্ব প্রথম কার্পেটে তার নজর পরে
বলে বেশ দারুন তো সাজিয়ে রাখো এই বাজারে।
কার্পেট দিব্যি নরম, চার পাশে তার নকশা রঙিন
ভয় নেই হোচট খাওয়ার শুয়ে বসে কাটছে সুদিন।"
