On this Day, Our demands are:
1. Stop all types of violence and attack on Rohingya in Arakan immediately.
2. Quick Repatriation of all FDMNs in Myanmar with due rights.
3. UN supported programmes for livelihood and peaceful coexistence with other ethnic people in Myanmar.
4. Both the Myanmar Junta and the Arakan Army need to be accountable by UN or International Community for Human Rights violation and crimes against Rohingya.
5. We expect tangible actions from UN organizations for sustainable repatriation in Myanmar. We, Rohingya want to return to our homeland Myanmar. We do not want to live such stateless & measurable life in camp. It's not a life as human.

A Rohingya man was injured in a landmine explosion in Sittwe

A Rohingya man was seriously wounded in a landmine explosion in Sittwe Township, Arakan state of Myanmar on 24th July 2024 .
The Rohingya youth who was wounded in a landmine explosion is a resident of Bagiza village in Sittwe Township.
The Rohingya man lost his right leg in the landmine explosion as his leg stepped over the landmine while walking towards his village from the paddy field.
A source said that treatments are imperative for the wounded Rohingya youth as his leg was shattered and he can't access to medical supports due to the movement restrictions in Sittwe .
He also recounted that “ it is still unidentified that the landmine was planted by Burmese Genocidal Militaries BGM or Terrorist Moghs Group AA as the both groups are moving there ”.

Rohingyas are fleeing into other villages in Maungdaw Township.
Rohingyas, inhabitants of downtown Maungdaw have been fleeing from their own villages into other villages due to the heavy combat taking position in downtown Maungdaw on 10th of July 2024 .
The Rohingyas, residents of Shwe Zar village, Payzi village, Ali village and downtown have fled into other villages and sought refuge in different villages around Maungdaw downtown on 10th of July 2024 .
A resident of Maungdaw downtown said that Terrorist Moghs Group AA is continuously attacking with large weapons and drones in downtown Maungdaw and its surrounding villages and it is causing many deaths and wounds from Rohingyas as the weapons directly at Rohingya residential areas.
“ Most of the residents of Maungdaw downtown and its neighbouring villages evacuated in other villages and many people were wounds and many were died during their evacuation as the Terrorist Moghs Group AA attacked them with large weapons and drones ”.
He recounted that a 7 years old girl was died while their parents were fleeing into other villages through a river .
“There is a river of Hayanghali village and when the people were crossing the river through ferryboats , a 7 years old Rohingya girl was died by sinking in the river and her body hasn't been discovered. The ferryboat was sunk because it was attacked with drones by Terrorist Moghs Group AA without any reasons ”.
The situation of Maungdaw downtown is exacerbating more and more and the residents are under the persecutions and dire situation and confronting with numerous challenges. Especially, they are starving and fighting with health and medical supports.
