Rohingya Armed Group
The Rohingya armed groups are conscripting Rohingya youths daily to sell them to the AA and/or Myanmar military in the name of fighting for their own country.
This has interrupted the daily lives of Rohingya in many ways, including movement within the camps and blocks.
In this video, you can see the youths holding guns and walking inside the camp openly, threatening people not to come out of their houses. Instead of spending their time on education and capacity building, Rohingya youths in the camps are engaged in these activities. This is also one of the major problems in our camps: we don't have any proper avenues for the youths where they can spend their time.
The biggest question is, how on earth is the Bangladeshi government continuously failing to tackle these mafias who roam around the camps openly after killing, raping, kidnapping, torturing, creating all kinds of unrest in the community, and extorting their own people?

Fight with whatever you have in your control against the oppression.
Indonesia said Tuesday it is appealing to the international community for help after more than 1,500 Rohingya refugees have arrived on its shores by boat since November.
Indonesia once tolerated such landings, while Thailand and Malaysia pushed them away. But the growing hostility of some Indonesians toward the Rohingya, who come from refugee camps in Bangladesh, has put pressure on President Joko Widodo’s government to take action.
“We see that the handling of the refugee problem, especially the resettlement issue, has been very slow so far,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Muhammad Iqbal told a news conference in the capital, Jakarta. He urged the international community to “show more responsibility in efforts to resolve the Rohingya refugee problem.”
UNHCR in Bangladesh should really assess its staff members who work in the camps' offices and offices in Cox's Bazar to ensure that they are effectively handling the complaints and feedback from Rohingya refugees. They must forward these concerns to the respective personnel for necessary action.
Violation of the mandate to protect the refugees means refugees are not safe even after fleeing the violence from their respective countries. They will have no options left but to jump into the sea like the way the Rohingya refugees have been doing for years. Hundreds and thousands have already lost their lives in the sea.
UNHCR should take this seriously and act on this to ensure its mandate to protect refugees is followed
